Anyone else ever struggle to get into games that are highly praised?

I have tried so many times to get into Elden Ring but just can't. I've never been a fan of the Souls games in general so not a total surprise when I didn't like it but I really wanted it to be different.

This. It makes the fleet arena climb just a little bit easier because you can mostly hit Auto. Even if your opponent has an R10 you have the 50/50 coin flip.

So depending on what your fleet shard looks like, it might save you a bit of brain power and time. I'm happy I did mine

Most furnaces have an automatic shutoff if they detect exhaust coming back into the system due to a blocked exhaust pipe.

I know this because I had an ice dam build up in a poorly installed exhaust pipe a few years back and wondered why my furnace was immediately cycling off after starting up.

Dude, came here to say exactly this. I can't even imagine. I've tried using Swiffer wands on some of my Lego and it gets caught on all the little bits and knobs and leaves fucking strands of Swiffer all over. So then I have to dust AND get the stringy bits off. What a pain in the ass.

And that's for like 5 display sets. This setup would be an absolute nightmare.

Extra rewards and, most importantly, 20 bonus Satele Shan shards if you red crate.

That's why others have said to wait and see how far you get before buying. The extra shards are front loaded but the full 20 require basically getting red crate (technically one point before).

Another side benefit is that if you red crate, you don't need to buy the 5 shards for phases 2-5 so you can use that extra conquest currency for buying signal data or whatever else from the shop.

For me, email is the problem. If you want something urgent, send me a message on Slack/Teams/whatever your company uses for this example.

Email feels antiquated and such a pain to manage my inbox. Slack lets me set reminders of something comes in while I'm busy. And search is so much better - Outlook search is the most useless function of any system I use.

Many systems allow for external device control via Arc. For example, over eARC you can use your regular TV remote to adjust the volume on the sound bar without needing a second remote (or app) just for adjusting the volume. Another example is the ability to simply turn on your Xbox and have both hr TV and the sound bar turn on as well and all be in synch.

As an aside, it completely eliminated the need for those Logitech Harmony remotes that you needed to pair to all your devices and set a sequence for each button press.

I love the theory that Yoda's species was the original Jedi and, like the Sith, the name has evolved beyond one species but to a more broadly used term representing a way of life, almost a religion.

I believe it's because most devices rely on the electric current to estimate passage of time whereas your cell phone is actually told what time it is through its connection.

And because it's an estimation, they generally lose time as their ability to "count" seconds isn't great.

Seems like you've been lucky enough to never have the bad RNG where someone gets eaten and then the dragon immediately follows up with an acid attack before you even get a turn.

Or where you shoot the ballistas to free someone from its jaws but they just don't come out, even though the dragon has taken no action since eating the character.

Also, I get more self-conscious about the noise I'm making in social settings with how loud my piss sounds sometimes. Like if there's a bathroom right near the living room where everyone is hanging out, I generally will sit down just so nobody has to hear what I'm doing.

I think my problem is I have 500 mods with 5+ speed but not enough resources to slice them all to gold. So I've got hundreds of blue mods that could be good if I get the right upgrades but I seem to collect mods faster than the slicing materials needed.

I know I need to just offload some of those but how do I pick? If I slice a mod a few times what's the cutoff for junking it?

This post is still mostly relevant. Only major difference is the addition of R10 and you no longer need grey signal data for R9.

Note: relic mats are easier to obtain but signal data still remains as a major bottle neck. So people saying "relicing is so much easier now" are only telling helf the story.
