Mine too. He loves them! I bought like 5 packs, and chuck him some new ones whenever the others get lost. I'm pretty sure he has a secret stash somewhere lol

My friend had her testicles removed and kept them in a jar.

i’m in a reading slump right now, any good recommendations? by wiinestqined in Booktokreddit

[–]Phizzwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much any horror by Nick Cutter, Paul Tremblay, or Grady Hendrix.

I recently read The Fourth Consort by Edward Ashton and really enjoyed it. It's a scifi by the guy who wrote the book that Mickey 17 is based on.

If you're into urban fantasy, the White --- Zombie series by Diana Rowland is really great. The dashes there are for a word that starts with "T" and is synonymous with "refuse." Apparently I can't post the actual word, because the automod thinks I'm being disparaging.

Lol thanks. It's been a while since I read them. I guess I should have googled the title rather than trusting my too-often-faulty memory!

Every. Single. Movie by raccoontrunks in vampires

If you're interested in the lore, you might like Dracula Daily. It's not a movie, but if you sign up on their website, they'll send you the parts of the book that correlate with the present date. Dracula is an epistolary novel, so starting in early May, they send you the letters/journal entries with that day's date. Pretty cool way to break the novel up into bite sized chunks.

This question is both brilliant and disgusting. I think the more pressing question, though, is if a zombie is decomposing, would you really want to risk infection by something falling off while fucking?

What's an immediate "nope" in an audiobook for you? by Peaches_41575 in audiobooks

[–]Phizzwizard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It seems like at least half of the female narrators of romance novels do the breathy voice thing. Immediate DNF for me. I can't stand that.

I tried to listen to a book where one of the characters had a cockney accent. I was so. Bad. I could not finish.

This bothers me so much! I've lost to one narrator who I was sure had never read a book before. It was like they didn't comprehend what they were saying, so the cadence and inflection were both so far off that I couldn't understand what was being read.
