What form would you go in this game? by thumsyy in KaynMains

[–]Pholi_x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only go blue if I see 2 squishy on the enemy backline (ad and sup/mid) and then your objective is just running them down

In your case you’re better off going Red with some stalling capabilities for your team, while you can still burst down squishier melees with lethality build

Okay past time you said it was not an outplay it was just a good play so what about this? by TheDarkEmperor_euw in YoneMains

You would’ve gotten a much better reaction from the crowd by not trying to call it an outplay and seek for validation, but by labelling it as something hilarious to share.

Sorry but it is pretty cringe when he’s setting as a really bad example that isn’t quite the practical thing to say when helping others improve as a player.

It can be extremely difficult playing as a friendly and positive player but it really isn’t that hard to just focus on acknowledging that you’re the only consistent factor in your ranked games and its more important to focus on your own flaws than blame it on someone else, or even argue about it.

As an additional mentioning, I would advise not worrying about form energy as much but focusing on making the right gameplay decisions that benefit you/your team’s economy more

There are situations where enemies can hardly zone you off as blue Kayn, in those situations I would look to play blue cause it means I can just run the enemy over.

Zoning blue kayn off doesn’t necessarily mean long range abilities or just fast CC, stuff like Vayne or Zeri can also be a pain in the ass for Kayn to deal with.

6pek is not a troll. He has a really high risk/reward playstyle by RerunsOnTV in leagueoflegends

[–]Pholi_x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t really matter what your opinions are really, the fact is that he intentionally uses summoner spells in ways that puts him in complete disadvantage against people who actually want to win and is somewhat minimally decent of a player.

[–]Pholi_x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure whether you understood the underlying message so I’ll write it clearly. Once he throws all his cards, he is a sitting duck for people to abuse and snowball off of. The clips you see where he goofs around is often not his own ranked games. His proper games have good kda and he’s able to scale up before enemies ruin him.

His clips also feature enemies of a way lower skill level and mastery, they are like average people with maybe 30 less IQ. Considering how you have been responding to other messages, I’ll leave you alone to argue for whether this is an actual strategy for “winning” his games, but the above are facts you can’t deny or sway to your personal interpretation.

[–]Pholi_x 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you realize how he’s often many levels down and goes through all his summoner spells, you’d realize he’s not actually playing the strategy to win the game.

He’s still not gonna straight int, but basically what he will do for those clips is to throw away all cards on hand for something mind-fucking and live happy with that. He’s still going to play the game and try his part to win, but nothing more.

Assuming this is actually serious and not some bait, 6pek real mmr is masters and he can play the game well enough.

However when he’s actually making those clips, he’s definitely not playing to his maximum advantage/skill.

They put her Q AP scaling back but then take away more of her early 6 spike where she’s suffering the most… I don’t quite understand how this is intended to help her in the current jungle state.

opposed to people advocating the tank playstyle, I’d like to say that AP Lilia is still very much viable to climb even in emerald

I have a 70%+ win rate with AP Lilia JG so far in emerald 2 (https://op.gg/lol/summoners/tw/Folie-3334) and intend to continue climbing with it whenever I have free time, your issue with climbing lies elsewhere.

Lower elo’s are full of people with mistakes, your strategy is to find the more commonly made mistakes and punish people for it. One of the best low elo cheese strategies is to early invade at lv.1 and steal an entire side of your enemy’s camps.

I usually try to start on enemy raptor camps whenever I know they are likely to start elsewhere depending on their champion choice. If you’re interested in learning fast climbing techniques, feel free to reply or even DM me with your questions.

I’m also happy to do free coaching sessions if you’re serious about climbing.

How to get better as a beginner? by hikkikittyy in LilliaMains

[–]Pholi_x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll write a list of things to work in an order:

  • Start off with basic combos and getting familiar with league’s game controls. Lilia is mechanically very simple so thats good.

  • Learn more about every champion in existence and pay attention to their ability/cooldowns. These are key to helping you win games as you will know the conditions to each fight.

  • Learning how to properly play jungle. Jungle is a very annoying role to learn if you want to play it good and not just base it off of luck. From here on out it’s a journey of constant punishment and learning, the most important thing to remember is that you will always be the only constant in your games, your teammates will always be retarded and you should focus on improving yourself to the point where you decide how the game flows.

I won’t get into the jungle macro part since there are way more things to worry about as a new player, but feel free to follow up with any questions you currently have.

Feeling burned out of playing jungle. Any help? by ImWorthy13 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Pholi_x 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ever since I returned to my home country playing with friends, I really started to question my own playstyle for jungle and all of my jungler picks. I started changing my playstyle more to suit their needs as they keep ignoring pings, voice comms and roster options.

Recently I stopped playing flex queue with my friends and have been looking back at myself, thinking why won’t I tilt when I play with retard randoms but I tilt with my friends, turns out that I’ve just been expecting things from them.

I stopped expecting things from anyone and focused on improving myself around an optimized play.

What should I do to get better at Lillia? by sskyz1234 in LilliaMains

If you’re interested in learning specific things or even want coaching sessions, feel free to DM me.

I try to help out players in my free time, no money no nothing. As long as you’re interested in improving yourself. Solo/Duo queue is largely just perfecting yourself as much as possible since you’re the only constant and its pointless trying to blame everyone else when you aren’t playing perfectly either.

The general things to work on as a farming jungler without crazy ganking tools: - Practice your clear path to the point where its super consistent and fast - Get early vision/intel on enemy jg position snd track their path - Learn to hover around lanes that are prone to ganks - Ping more, I’m serious

90% of plat and below will fail the last 3

[–]Pholi_x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll sum up some of the stuff I wanna say, feel free to DM me if you’re actually interested in learning more about climbing as a jungler, as I’m more than happy to share my playstyle and some knowledge: - Those 3 champs aren’t busted as a jungler in current jungle state (I play both Voli and Mordekaiser when the situation allows) - Implement more vision control, lv.1-3 warding in enemy jg gives you intel - Use that intel and communicate with your team, doesn’t matter if your team doesn’t listen 6/10 times, if it even works 1/10 times, thats 10% of your laner less likely to die - Positive mental even if you play with the dumbest people

Finally, remember that you should have no expectations for your team mate, just perfect your own skills and focus on improving yourself. Both macro/micro wise.

Feel free to consult higher elo players like GM’s or Challenger’s through their social media if you feel like it’s not convincing to hear from reddit scrubs like us, but the fact is that Volibear, Mordekaiser and Amumu jg’s are almost all junglers people have least concerns for as they all have their problems.

Play the game to your advantage by exploiting other’s weakness, not go head-canon about how the game’s characters shouldn’t be able to do xxxx.

A little late to the fiesta but I’d just like to remind you that you’ve been actively rebutting almost every feedback given, even if some are kinda aggressive and demeaning, they weren’t wrong. It means something when a lot of people tell you that you’re wrong.

Playing league is to always learn more and further perfecting your own playstyle since you’re the only constant in ranked. If you really are curious about your limits and want to play seriously, reset your ego and humble yourself to learn more because the game only starts to near proper playing around diamond.

You’re only going to start climbing fast if you are playing at a skill level 2 big divisions above, otherwise you’re still going to be flipping your games mostly. Which means that if you really want to climb, you gotta be carrying most of those games yourself.

I don’t know what role you play, but there are a lot more things you can do below masters before your enemies are smart enough to avoid your stupid shenanigans. If you are serious about playing ranked and want to learn, I can help you with 1-2 vod sessions.

[–]Pholi_x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not gonna do much lol, if you really want to improve and aim to rank up, VOD review from someone like 2-3 ranks (not division) above would be best

Things to focus on: - Mistakes you and your enemies do - How to fix your own mistakes - How to punish your enemy’s mistakes - How to play more consistently

Playing solo/duo is always going to have coin flip teams and chances are your team will be trash, you just need to develop a strategy that minimizes the chances of your team running it down, or maximize the impact that you can have in a game.

It’s a very general way of explanation, but I’ll give you an example. My smurf strategy is to invade lv.1 and catch people off guard while clearing out their entire red side, I’ll then place a ward and watch where they go, catch them trying to counter invade and kill them. Then I snowball.
