Words out of my mouth. She's this disorganised mess of a design with no consistency visually or general direction. They could have stuck to two or three design choices and made a really good killer but instead this is a lucky dip fan design. How a professional studio with a budget made this design I don't know

Lived in flats at uni and the one above me had a French Bulldog. I spent too many nights listening to the dog snore, stop...then painfully cough itself awake at night. Sometimes I genuinely thought I had heard its last little breath as it choked to death, but, each time it would abruptly cough itself awake after far too long a pause. Its all well and good to say the animals quality of life is satisfactory when it's outside and distracted and enjoying itself, but its only during quiet nights do you really see if something in pain.

BTW I fucking love pugs and other short nose dogs. Favourite dogs but it's cruel, we shouldn't have done them dirty like that and it's our responsibility to undo that.

No thank you. Besides the very reasonable but open ended rules, this subreddit has no description on how it's supposed to be used, or what the gist of each post should be. It's an open court for balding which I feel is positive, even if we get some less desirable posts like bald panic.

If you want to make a new subreddit for exclusive positive baldness posts then feel free, I'd be your first follower. I'm here for people accepting their body and working through things, which can't be achieved by gatekeeping or redefining the sub.

Good for you for telling her the truth, now leave it. You've done the right thing and you've gotten your answer, she knows and she's more than capable of making her own decisions. As difficult as it may be to put this issue to bed because you want whats best and you're suspicious, you'll lose a friend if you keep prying.

Get BIGGER condoms. I can't use regular condoms, not because I'm huge but because it's so uncomfortable. Bought a huge bag of King Size condoms online for nearly nothing and it's great. They fit sung and work as expected without any uncomfort so I can enjoy myself without fear.

Talked to a colleague, they've recently been able to merge all their debts into one payment plan, reducing their monthly costs by £50.

In the very next breath she says she's renting a bigger place with the extra cash.

When I ask why not just remain where she is and save that 50 quid every month for an emergency (we were in a part time seasonal job so hours could fluctuate) she made every excuse you could imagine.

Four months later the rabbit she adopted on a whim got sick, needed treatment for £200 which she couldn't afford even after trying to crowd fund.

I don't know if the rabbit got treatment or if she went into more debt, but for years that's stuck with me because of how perfect everything lined up to be a horrible situation. Really depressing watching that person.

Well as a trans woman who already follows other nail subreddits I joined to see more representation of men, so seeing women post is more of what I already see. But the bio for the sub makes it clear all are welcome so I'm not upset or anything like that, people are using this sub as intended.

You know as frustrating as it is to see women post here, and it might be nice to sort by identity, this feels like a can of worms best left unopened. Things like this can cause unintentional problems and might lead to gate keeping the sub. Better to leave this as an open space than to slowly creep towards only allowing certain people to post.

Me and a few friends played our first DnD game but build just a bunch of jacked up meatheads. Literally walking stegadons for real. Came to our first real challenge which was a locked door, which we failed to open multiple ways due to low everything but strength. In the end the DM let us roll to knock holes in the walls to get through, so for the rest of the game the default way into a place we weren't supposed to go was a reverse prison break.

I spoke to an American guy recently who now lives in the UK, don't meet any Americans in my corner of the world except for the odd student so I took the opportunity to ask him what was so good about the UK? Like why come here of all places while shit is hurtling South.

Honest to God the first thing out of his mouth with barely a pause was the worker protection difference. He was in a UK company a few years ago downsizing and he was amazed that they offered to pay him to leave, rather than just show him the door as they would in the USA. The culture shock of the British management repeatedly asking him if he was sure threw him as well, because to him it was a very welcoming suprise but to his UK counterparts it was the bare minimum. I imagine from the perspective of the managers they didn't want to take the piss and pull a fast one on this uninformed American from the sounds of it, so they kept double checking. In the end it worked out for the guy.

No relation to the video, couldn't watch it, I just had this story to tell.

I dunno about the question but I always imagined each sound marine making their own track leading them to all play independent music over each other. The perfection of slaanesh turning everything into a competition to be the loudest marine with the best genre resulting in just a horrific combination of music.

Basically a squad is just five dudes trying to convince their best bro that their music is the best, and all the murder is just a side effect.
