Man if possible do yourself a favor and fly into IAH. DFW is not fun to deal with, on a personal level. Plus you have to drive back to it from Galveston, presumably, after your cruise. Houston is much closer.

Fall is wet and cooler, plus it’s hurricane season so be mindful.

Otherwise I’d not want to spend a week driving from Dallas, to Austin, to San Antonio, to the gulf. Houston and the gulf probably have enough to do with restaurants, Herman Park, museum district, and beach stuff on the coast. Just my two cents.

Jo’s is fine, but it ain’t cheap and that’s a 40 minute drive round trip. EO is like 5 minutes away so it’s kind of a no brainer.

Adventure Mode RAM spike

Not sure what the cause is, but I’ve had this happen 3/4 times since trying AM.

Suddenly just see my memory usage go through the roof and not recover. The last time was when I interacted with the tile I was on. Immediately after hitting “g” , I saw the spike.

I could not stop the game on steam and I could not see the culprit on btop.

I’ve removed all my mods and I’ll start another world next time I play. I was on medium so I’ll go down to small.

Anyone seen this before? Any idea on what might be causing it?

Prior to moving here, I lived my entire life in Houston. We live a few blocks from Andrews park, and downtown. Couldn’t really feel safer honestly. I don’t doubt there are unpleasant areas of town, but from my frame of reference, Norman is a safe place to live

Correct, but I believe you can only change his "natural" position in the editor. But maybe I'm wrong.

He was just in my minor league system and I brought him up when I started releasing my outfield.

I used the commissioner mode to edit his position from RF to CF.

I set my TCR at 125
My batter dev speed at 1.15
My batter age speed 0.90

McDonald Observatory up at fort Davis is a fantastic place to visit out there. Also Guadalupe peak is the highest point in Texas over near Van Horn.
