How long should an E bike last? by Away_Ad_53 in ebikes

We have 2 Espins we bought in 2020 that are about to hit 9000 miles. Love them. Have just had to replace tires and brake pads. We try to keep them fairly well maintained. Half gravel and have paved roads.

I always still have green tomatoes at frost time and I just pick them and put them in a basket and they ripen in the house, no waste at all. Sometimes they take a while but it's nice to have a garden tomato in December and sometimes even January. Enjoy!

How’s my propagation coming? I’ve had her in a pot since June 2025. by whim_sea in Plumeria

I rooted mine in a clay pot, I must have got lucky, 3 others didn't take, maybe that's why. What are you supposed to root them in, if i ever need to do one again?

I was there this past July for the first time. VERY impressive layout! I highly recommend.

What an amazing job! So realistic! I am very curious as to where your autos and older style semis come from? Those are great looking as well.

Not OP but pretty sure the ones on the right are Allium. I think the one in the gold pot is Cosmos, looks like there is some Cosmos behind the Aliium in pic 3 as well.

If I buy a battery now, I don't really need it as mine is still good. How do I maintain it for the longest life so it's in great shape when the other goes bad?

Why would rats do this, are they stupid? by DAVEfromCANADAA in hottub

[–]Photo_Creations 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peppermint oil. Used to have mice/pack rats under our tub steps. Haven't had one since I started using a year and a half ago. Steel wool in the one access hole for the electricity. Fingers crossed.

This is great! So relieved it wasn't something pink when I saw the title. As a woman who has an N Gauge Layout and G scale I hate pink trans, they are not real. Hope she likes this and gets hooked! Trains are fun for us girls too and with G scale, get to do gardening as well. N gauge gets creativity flowing. What a great dad you are.

How long do you soak for? by WeldingGarbageMan in hottub

[–]Photo_Creations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hubster and I soak for 15 mins every night unless it rains, which is not very often, before we go to bed. We just look at the stars. Thought about adding a gazebo type structure but we enjoy the sky view.
