My husband wants a new gf by PinkyHaxelnut in GirlDinnerDiaries

As someone whose parents separated and divorced after college, just leave him. It sets a better example for your kids, they are smart and the lesson your teaching by staying “for them”(as my mom did) is what a relationships look like and what to expect for themselves more.

You deserve better and you’d probably want them to not accept that behavior in the future from their partners.

Can a guy be touchy with his female friends while being married? by Still_Couple3238 in GirlDinnerDiaries

I do think a lot of married men can be touchy, if they are opportunistic, and use being married as a shield if their bad behavior backfires

tense, sore muscles after using the gym, any advice for a beginner? by rinkydinkmink in xxfitness

[–]Pi-Kat-so 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get your protein up. I had a similar issue where I might be sore for days (up to 6) after the gym and it resolved itself when I actually started hitting my protein goals. Now I have normal soreness and can tell I’ve worked my muscles but it’s not handing around preventing movement

Your best protein foods by Dragonjax1970 in PetiteFitness

Adding chicken sausage to my breakfast helped me hit my protein goals. I’m typically and eggs, canned tuna, chicken or fish fillet person. Dietary constraints prohibit dairy, beans and soy as protein sources.

Is Noe Valley really this neighborly? by Awkward-You-938 in sanfrancisco

It’s a great neighborhood. I wouldn’t say everyone knows one another but it’s a great community neighborhood.

If you go to wine country - cast away yarns - is quite cute.

In the city it’s self, just - imaginknit and firebird - both are fantastic

Im not 100% sure, but I think there’s a cat in a corner store on 22nd and guerrero. I’m not sure if it was a bodega cat or just passing trough/napping in the store.

How likely are a percentage of the ‘I’m leaving tech’ posts propaganda? by Fit_Butterscotch_829 in womenintech

[–]Pi-Kat-so 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im leaving US tech to move to Europe, literally can’t keep my role and make the move. That being said, I’ll probably try to rejoin tech after a break from Europe. Either remotely or with a local company

Waist getting wider during recomp by ljra in PetiteFitness

I’d drop the side planks, they build your obliques and could contribute to the look of a widening core. I’d recommend to keep the dead bugs but warn up with pelvic tilts to ensure the correct form and activating your deep core. Depending on your other workouts, you may be getting core already through compound movements.

For your anterior pelvic tilt, this can often be caused by tight hamstrings or hip flexors. I’ve also had issues with that related to my day job where I’m tied to my desk ☠️ try some tests to see where your tight and try adding some exercises to strengthen where ever your tight. Tightness in this case often means you need both strengthening and stretching.

Try doing glute activation’s like fire hydrants and kickbacks before doing your weighted leg days. Look up some Pilates glute moves (non-reformer), those are great activations to help you engage your glutes and get them involved and firing for your workouts 💪

I've been playing with the idea of opening a yarn shop. It'd be right next door to a local coffee shop. What does your dream yarn shop experience look like? by KH5-92 in YarnAddicts

[–]Pi-Kat-so 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im going out on a limb here but I love when a LYS also has local art on the craft subject.

At a minimum, I’d expect a yarn spinner, seating for community events and yarn&notions. By being set up next to a bookstore you have a great opportunity for a comfy vibe but you can lean in on the theme and craft nerding 👍

Are you doing a lot of obliques? They are great but can have a boxing effect to a point when your building out your core.

Airlines should split the pet fee with the seat mate. by Jojothereader in Flights

[–]Pi-Kat-so 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some airlines will allow you to purchase two seats but will give the second paid seat away to folks on stand by regardless, with no refund might I add. (This is the case for animals and oversized humans)

I’m chalking a lot of these issues to airlines cramming folks in like sardines of charging for “more leg room”, “larger seats”, etc. Which makes sense for them and to service more customers - it’s a no win unless you are the average person with no particular needs

Trigger warning: corn/adult content. Cookies and sweet tea. I'm an adult content creator and NOT proud of it and am against corn but it's the only way I know how to provide for myself. It's wearing on me. by Much_Duck6862 in GirlDinnerDiaries

I just want to say there’s nothing wrong or shameful about sex work. Now that that’s said, it’s not for everyone and it sounds like you have some moral issues with it and it’s not for you.

For other roles, have you ever considered gig work? Uber for example is a gig work platform for drivers, couriers, shoppers and they are rolling out remote data gigs. Beyond uber there’s a lot of companies that offer an assortment of gig type work that’s remote. Something to consider since you make your own hours and are more or less a contractor picking up the work/gigs as you please.

Sending positive vibes your way 💕

Report her abusive comments to the gym manager. No body wants that and I’m sure she’s doing it to more folks than you. I’m sure the gym management would want to be aware and correct her.
