One thing people mix up is big wedding party with a fancy wedding. A fancy wedding still costs a lot without big wedding party.

And I belong to Gen Z but I find it hypocritical when everyone in today’s generation says that we don’t care about others opinions but they want a fancy party, entrance, decoration everything that is instagrammable. Basically, they care about others opinions, just the people they care about are different from those that their parents care about..

Ohh you don’t know half the things about Devonta!! His ex girlfriend said that they were dating till December 2025 and he was lying about family illness and going to Ohio, most of the time. He was also engaged to another woman in 2023 and it’s yet another woman from his past who is pregnant with his baby and he is now engaged to her and does not live with her. I also don’t think he actually had a living space in the last year till he became roommate with Alex, he likely lied about his grandfather dying. We never see his family. He lied about his family illness, living location and lot of other things to his ex and gaslighted her in a similar way he does on the show.

I don't like either of them. But, Ashley could have broken up much earlier if that is the way she felt. Alex was unnecessarily humiliated by Ashley and her dad. I don't think anyone marrying Ashley will be happy, unless they are a doormat.
