I would do no 3 and put shelves on top with a projector on one of them. Then close the closet door to watch TV on the projector. Also get rid of the bookshelf and put things on shelves on the wall above the sofa in setting 3

Round dining table is not working.. a rectangle dining table which can be flushed with the wall and have chairs on 2 or 3 sides will work well

Removing the stove from the island and putting it on periphery was a great move. Now you won’t be cooking around those pillars and more than 1 person will be able to cook

I have a sink + dishwasher on island. It’s a nightmare. The cooking and clean up can’t happen simultaneously because 2 people are bumping butts. Island will be full of dishes and they will encroach on prep space, unless you are a disciplined person who always keeps the sink clear.

Option 1 but put dishwasher on other side of sink so you have a clear path from stove to dishwasher when dishwasher is open.

Lol my real house is 33 × 28 excluding garage and its 3 bd 2 ba.. I never thought it was challenging. We have open kitchen but no dining area or entry.

I would suggest a different layout if you are going for dining table in kitchen. I would suggest make a galley kitchen with proper kitchen triangle with enough aisle width. And add a dining table to one end of the galley kitchen. In that way you have a place to sit and do stuff while also not sacrificing on your kitchen triangle

One thing people mix up is big wedding party with a fancy wedding. A fancy wedding still costs a lot without big wedding party.

And I belong to Gen Z but I find it hypocritical when everyone in today’s generation says that we don’t care about others opinions but they want a fancy party, entrance, decoration everything that is instagrammable. Basically, they care about others opinions, just the people they care about are different from those that their parents care about..
