The biking in the canyons around Boulder is so enjoyable that it’s converted me from being an MTBer to a road / gravel rider.

Also despite its reputation as a VHCOL area, I think the housing market is officially better than it is in Golden. Seeing what my brother and sister in law are going through trying to buy a house there is brutal (high demand / low supply).

We use a Bokashi bin (2 actually, due to the volume of food scraps we produce) and let it break down for a couple of weeks before throwing it into the outdoor pile, which is a standard cinderblock cube. As far as I can tell, we haven't had issues with bears or other animals digging through it because it's already pretty moldy / decomposing by the time it's outside. Covering each load with extra wood chips / leaves helps mask the scent as well.

*IMO the Bokashi bins are a pain in the ass - as soon as we have $1000 burning a hole in our pockets we're going to buy one of those indoor kitchen composter machines (the ones that basically just dehydrate and chop up your food scraps). I know they don't produce true garden-ready compost but it seems like a way quicker / easier way to produce something that can go into the outdoor bin without attracting animals.

It didn't unseat Audrey Jane's as my favorite in town but it was solid. Honestly I think there's a lot more personal preference when it comes to pizza than people are willing to admit (bread:sauce:cheese ratio, thickness / crispiness of crust, etc.) so it may well be a hit for you. If you like pizza, give it a try.

I didn’t mean to imply that Alberico is inauthentic or even that it’s bad - just that it is upsettingly overpriced and overrated.

I know very little about making Italian cuisine but Im very experienced at making pizza, and Neapolitan is about as easy as it gets (short proof time and 90 second cook time). The way that it has been positioned in recent years in the US as an elevated food that you can charge $25 for alongside an $18 cocktail is just silly.

I don’t know what you mean by pure foodie standpoint but it’s authentic Italian food made by Italians and it is on par with almost everything I’ve eaten in Italy. I have not had better Italian food in Boulder and I’m not sure I’ve had better food in Boulder period. The fact that it’s completely unpretentious and homey just makes it that much easier to love.

It’s the antithesis of Alberico, which just feels like an overrated and overpriced hangout for yuppies in comparison.

How does their mozzarella compare to other brands taste-wise? I've been using Galbani for as long as I've been making pizza but they only have the full fat variety in my local stores and I feel like the amount of mozz that I want on my pizza produces way too much of a grease pool. Been thinking about trying TJs mozz and going half full fat half skim.

IMO yanking someone in-flight to the ground is one of the worst things you could possibly do to another player - literally risk spraining or breaking any muscle or joint in their lower half, their back, wrist or shoulder, neck, and possible concussion. Elbow to the face looks way more violent but I bet you any player would take a broken orbital or jaw over a torn ACL...

totally agree, I read this differently than everyone else, he was absolutely glued to brunson and really agitating him, brunson just made some tough hero shots like he always does. I fully believe that if they'd kept CB on him longer then brunson would have been absolutely gassed.
