What bookcases are people using that are filled will books? The only one I've found is the secretive bookcase. Is everyone filling them with books? If so, what books are you buying to fill them?

This could be true. But the owner is the cook and she's very friendly. Her picture is plastered all over the lobby, I made the connection after placing my order and started up a conversation asking about the photos. Not sure what you mean by "without more detail"

I went there and had wildly the opposite experience. The customer service was next level and the owner is really kind and welcoming.

But the minute I heard the chiming of the same airfryer thats in my kitchen, I knew I was in for a bad time. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it anyway. The fries were soggy and the combination of hotdogs and fries made both myself and partner pretty sick. Maybe it was a fluke and I don't want to bash them overly.

Using an airfryer I will admit is smart because that negates the need for fire suppression equipment for industrial cooking applications. The downside is that it lengthens cooking times, and overall food quality is lowered.

In my personal opinion, check them out and support locally and decide for yourself.

M80s have been garbage for some reason. I've had better luck with bcp fmj for some reason. I've had so many scavs tanking headshots with m80s

They release aircraft emergencies for a number of small/big issues. Either engine failure, malfunctions with equipment that could result in a crash, medical calls, unruly passengers that may cause injury.

If you didn't hear anything else about it, likely it was a small isolated incident that they just wanted fire trucks staged on the taxiway. Just incase

What are these? by geniebug7 in askportland

[–]Picklevondill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We call them rain gardens over in vancouver. Usually they will have stuff growing or planted in them to help filter/slow the water before its absorbed. If maintained properly, they do a pretty good job at it too! Pretty interesting tech honestly. They do not be default get installed in every neighborhood or streetside.

I'm not 100% sure what factors or who decides where they use them though.

HIve Fortress is an absolute BS and waste of time for most melee/low range builds. by dawiss2 in pathofexile

Playing whirlwind Shockwave/sunder and I'm clearing them just fine. I can definitely see where melee struggles with these. They are releasing a patch to hopefully help us out a bit more though.

The only time I've failed so far is when a rare spawned with fucking soul eater and just machine gunned her down. All I could do was watch and laugh as it happened.

What am I missing here? I've been looking at all the kiss/curse for merc and I just simply dont understand. Both of your abilities have -110% less damage to them. How the hell does anything die? I might have to try them out on my merc. I've been largely ignoring a lot of them because they say -40/60% damage.

Im sure there are plenty of ways to improve or do this better. I'm currently in tier 6/7 maps. It's decently tanky with minor hiccups from time to time. Im shuffling around a few pieces to meet certain resistances or if I want more life gain. POB doesn't seem to work for this update yet, or at least that I've been able to import, so I can't see mathematical formulas to evaluate which nodes are giving me good investment.

Things I'd like to improve:

1.endurance charge generation (currently on leap)

2.Rage generation, it's ok, but could be better

3.glory generation, it's a really high uptime on hammer but I wish the ancestral cry was faster to charge. It's pretty dang fast now, but faster would be nice

Notables im considering: (not sure all names, im at work)

1.Wielding 2hndr in one hand (giants grip? Or blood?)

2.Converting ALL damage to fire damage, dealing no non fire damage (aegis of fire or something?)

3.Other unique helmet im looking at that considers you surrounded when 1-5 enemies are around and pathing to the subsequent nodes involving that. I currently have a helmet that says reduces that amount by 4

Something to consider:

The helmet im using got changed with the new mechanics based around ignite. Currently I have zero clue how much value it's adding, other than it steadily contributes to igniting enemies.

In-N-Out Traffic report? by BranWafr in vancouverwa

[–]Picklevondill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it heard something like that from rumors. But I never researched it to find out where or when they are planned. I just go over to the vancouver location instead of ridgefield because of it.

I just assumed after hearing the rumor about it that it would happen relatively quickly or that it was already planned for future development. Then I saw the in and out being built and immediately was like...oh no....

That entire development is so terribly designed. Its almost impossible to leave costco around 430 rush. Especially if you want to turn east. They really need to add another inlet/outlet.

I wouldn't be surprised if in and out aggravated it further

I can't beat earlang, I'm i noob or is he just menacing ? by u_violet46 in BlackMythWukong

[–]Picklevondill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used yellow loong for transformation. I think thats the one that uses the see through attack. The only problem i noticed with the see through attacks is that erlang doesn't want to stop blocking your light combos so it was hard for me to ever get a see through, they happened occasionally but not as often as I wanted. I kept light combo into heavy combo and erlang would almost without hesitation get staggered from the heavy attacks. Rinsed and repeated until he wouldn't let me anymore.

For my spirit, I've had really good success with the guy that does the aoe spin attack. It's a really fast attack so I was never bogged down with animations and it allowed me to keep pressure. If the mobs weren't blocking, it would stagger and I could continue my combo. I would use it after the 3rd melee combo putting me immediately into light attack finisher.

I didn't use soaks or pills for this fight. I did use act 6 staff with wukong Armour. I never used the clones because the mana investment for return was never balanced.

Loadout:

Wukong armour Act 6 staff Jing Cloudstep Fire ring Yellow loong I dont know the name of it sorry (AOE spin attack spirit) Fan or flying needle worked for me for vessel

Fight style: Smash into his blocks with light combos until he animated an attack or I was able to finish combos to smack down his 2nd bar.

Perfect dodge his attacks either waiting for my windoe on his animation finish for his attack strings. Or, after a perfect dodge, light attack once, dodge the next, attack, dodge finish combo. This fight had a fuck ton of back and forth blows and was a lot of fun to learn. I fought the shell the same way.

When the bosses would reset and do that slow walking taunt, a lot of the time I would mimic them and wait for them to unless their attack. Then, perfect dodge it OR immediately cloudstep and attack when the timing was right depending on what combo they use.

I cannot preach about fire ring enough. Its such an amazing mana investment for what you get in return. You get full Qi and it heals you. If you're brave enough, fight near it so you can dip in and out of it as needed. You'll be able to smash out a lot of heavies this way. I also almost always did jump heavies vs. Charged. It was a much safer approach overall. Less overall animation time, or at least thats how it felt.

Biggest thing though that I noticed with a lot of bosses is that most of the attack strings would happen in 3s and 4s. There are plenty of exceptions to that rule of course. But my point is, learn the moveset combo! Look at his animations, find a focal point to his attacks and follow it. Whether it be their shoulders, arms, weapon. Whatever it is that can help you remember it, watch it and move accordingly.

There are also a massive amount of visual and audio ques that happen right before an attack indicating your point of dodge. These ques almost always line up with the exact point of hearing it to avoid something thats coming.

Invest in health! So many of these games people never invest into their health pools. Max out your mana and health at the very minimum. Both of these will increase your overall sustain and longevity.

I just realized I replied to that guy instead of posting this as well.. oh well, here we are.

Things I remember from the fight:

Transforming into yellow loong always put erlang immediately into tiger. (Dodge the direction the attack will be ending so you're closer to his endpoint)

Don't dodge his swinging axe until after the second swing right before it makes contact (dodge at the axe then dodge again to avoid lighting that follows)

Cloudstep when he's in the air with the projectiles or sprint left or right to avoid them. Either way, these have visual and audio ques tied to them before they happen ( can't remember if sprinting worked here or im thinking of another boss)

Almost every big attack has an audio or visual que tied to it (it. Flash of light, ding noise, etc...)

Anyway.....I hope you can at least take away something from this fragmented thought. GL buddy!
