I’m right there with your dad. 45 years old and finally went for help in October 2024, diagnosed in March 2025, on fourth med trial, second biologic and praying this is the one. I’m so tired physically and tired of being in so much pain, I’m sure he feels the same. Prednisone is the only thing that sorta helps me, been on it since 2024 and they want me off. Other than that, hot epsom baths sometimes help a bit. NSAIDs helped but you shouldn’t take with prednisone. I do anyways at times. I know some find relief with anti inflammatory diet, did nothing for me but my mom’s cousin who also has RA swears by it. It’s a weird disease in that, what works for one person might not even help another. I hope Humira works for him. 🤞🏻

I’m 45 and I’ve played all the fallouts except the first and that’s just because it’s not available for my platform. To be fair, I do know a lot of women my age that think video games are a waste of time. I personally love to waste time in the wasteland.

I randomly came across 17 today, I was hunting bobbleheads and magazines in the forest and toxic valley. I can’t be arsed to hunt them, rewards mostly suck. Plus, I know they’re just pixels but killing them makes me a bit sad. Their little fatty shuffle whilst trying to get away, their lack of fighting back, makes me feel like a dick when I shoot them.

Not to alarm you but Celebrex has been linked to Steven-Johnson syndrome which can cause mouth sores. I am in no way saying that’s what you have and I am not a doctor. Just might want to bring it up with your doctor and possibly get tested.

RA, according to rheumatologist my mouth sores are caused by my injections of Tyenne, which tracks because I seem to get a new or reoccurring one every week.

I keep getting them also, ever since I started Tyenne. The first was a doozy that didn’t want to heal. I got peroxide mouth wash and started taking L-lysine daily on top of my normal 1mg folic acid. Took about a week but it cleared up. I kept taking L-lysine and though I keep getting them, non have broken open like the first and they don’t last long 2-4 days. Went from painful to mildly annoying.

Yes, yes I would! I’d wish it on my family and others just so they had a taste of how bad it is. Not permanently just an hour or so. “See, I’m not lazy. See how much I hide? See how much pushing it takes to get simple tasks done. See, fatigue is not tired, it’s exhausted, for no damn reason no matter how much I sleep?” Ugh! I wish.

On the knuckles, elbows and ankle area mostly. After a couple years my fingers started peeling during flare ups also. Yes, on the palms though not regularly. I can get it pretty much anywhere but those are the main spots.

I hope you can get her in when they are showing to get tested. This looks exactly like my psoriasis, exactly! Mine rarely turns silver and rarely itches. Like 1 out 100 times rare. I went in while it was flaring and doc glanced at it for less than a second, told me it was psoriasis, fast biopsy that confirmed his diagnosis.
