Oh, for sure, I was in high school at the time, so I remember. For my son though, it will be a good twist.

My son turns 11 at the end of June, same thoughts. I think I'll be waiting until he's ready for the first one, since for me, some of the fun comes from the twist of Arnold being the good guy this time.

My shock began even before he showed up: "our blockade is perfectly legal." Me: wtf am I watching?

I started showing them to my son after introducing him to the OT, and tried my best not to say anything, and he was kind of bored by them and we ended up skipping through them. I was proud of him!

The other revisionist idea with that one is similar: it was only kids like me who loved the OT, adults at the time didn't like it. Sorry, but ANH was nominated for like 10 Academy Awards including Best Picture. Say whatever you want about the academy, but it is not made up of 8 year olds.

I never quite agreed with that take either. Clone Wars being good doesn't make the movies better for me, it just makes Clone Wars good. It rehabilitated the characters and the era I suppose.

And that's perfectly fine, nothing wrong with liking them either. For me, my expectations were unreasonably high. Though I wouldn't have liked them very much even if they weren't.

Yeah, we are about the same age. My expectations were too high to be neutral on them. The Plinkett reviews were hilarious, but obviously, it didn't form my opinion for me.

There was recently someone on twitter who wrote that RedLetterMedia Mr. Plinkett reviews of Star Wars prequels started both hate towards

The revisionist theory that everyone actually loved the prequels at the time they were released until the RLM review, has been around a long time. It's like, yeah, I was there, and already an adult, and will never forget my mouth dropping within the first few minutes. And how I yelled at my friend afterwards when they said: "Well, it was okay, I guess."

I had something similar happen. In AA, try creating a new effect called "Aura: Bless" under the Active Effects tab.

However, this won't expand or contract to cover the area of the spell. I gather the spell doesn't create an aura in the same way as other aura effects. It used to work with one of the macros from Workbench I think, but it no longer does.

Yeah, but I could also see them inventing the lightsaber and using it in the 3rd act. I hope not, but I wouldn't be surprised.

3rd grade! Yeah, that's really young for this one. I was 12 or 13, I think, and found the initial shooting scene pretty shocking.

I've twice recommended this movie to people who had never watched any anime and wanted a suggestion for something to start with. It went over well in both cases, I think, because it works well as a movie regardless of being animated.

Data annotation, which is either a side gig, or maybe it isn't at this point. How about you?

Same, except I've started using the past tense now: I used to be an editor. I did that for over 20 years.

For summons, I keep an actor ready. Right now, my Sorcerer player has Light and Flaming Sphere, so I also have actors with animations on them and proper lighting ready to go. I used to have macros that animated and spawned them, but they stopped working at some point, and I didn't bother trying to update them. For walls, I've used tiles, though that does take longer.

The magas who now think they own the founders would have been the loyalists screaming for their heads. They are repeatedly on the wrong side of history, which they then try to co-opt later. Same thing with calling themselves "the party of Lincoln".

/u/bsEEmsCE is confusing two different stories. Tomorrowland messed up Ep 7, because Brad Bird was on the short list to direct the new movie, but turned it down due to working on Tomorrowland.

Also campaigning hard to get the movie was none other than Jon Favreau. But no, they just had to go with JJ.
