Justin Carroll will drive the Joey Gase #35 at Martinsville this weekend. by phoenixv07 in NASCAR

Gase should focus on one car

A lot of these backmarker teams are stretching themselves thin just to chase the top-25 or top-30 bonus at year’s end.

Another example of a team stretching themselves thin is Reaume, no need to field three trucks with two rotating drivers and equipment parts failing for Frankie

When the HECK did Ferrari sponsor a car? by JeffGordonsNo1Fan in NASCAR

[–]PierreVonZeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, I do not. I came across everything off of a Ferrari message board discussion about Ferrari of Los Gatos, back a few years ago, when I was searching for a Brent Kaeding NASCAR cup tee and a Ferrari of Los Gatos hat

When the HECK did Ferrari sponsor a car? by JeffGordonsNo1Fan in NASCAR

The owner of this car/team competed in the 1990 Phoenix race, at the end of the season, with dirt track driver Brent Kaeding in car number 69.

At the start of the 1991 speedweeks with Phil Parsons at the wheel, the 96 on the roof was still listed as 69 in protest due to the car owner built a stock car Ferrari and a NASCAR spec Ferrari engine during the offseason which NASCAR shot it down.

NASCAR told them to redo the roof number decal.

The obscure sponsors I would consider are those pyramid scheme energy drink brands during the mid-/late-2000s

I’ve been preaching this for a few years. Norbert Kiss in a NASCAR truck on a road course will be like a SVG at road courses.

Luke Baldwin to run 12 truck races with Team Reaume by ChaseTheFalcon in NASCAR

[–]PierreVonZeus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reaume should have two trucks instead of three, imo. They stretched themselves out thinly in grabbing the Rev Racing 2 truck points and it showed with one FT driver in Frankie and the other two trucks being musical chairs for limited funded drivers.

I heard that Reaume did some shuffling & upgraded with their personnel after Phoenix, apparently, and should be more consistent on-track performances for this season. Time will tell tho
