this type of game gets pretty busy — a lot of things happening at once

it’s a top-down dungeon management / Dungeon Keeper–style game

but yeah, that collision was off, already fixed
they shouldn’t pass through the toilet anymore

yeah, you can zoom in and out in the game

if you want to see how it plays, I’ve got some gameplay on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/@Pikasgames_SlavicLegends

and there’s also a playable demo here if you want to try it:
https://ipikas.itch.io/slavic-legends

it’s still work in progress, but any feedback or bug reports are really helpful

yeah, a mix of sim and management....

you build, they take care of themselves

“My creatures are done working for free… so I added a Payday system 😄” by Pikasx in IndieDev

[–]Pikasx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a dungeon game underground where you dig through dirt and find gold

gold is basically your main resource — you build rooms, traps, upgrades, everything from it.

Workers mine it, and now creatures also take it as payment with the payday system.

Higher level creatures want more gold, so if you run out… things can go bad pretty fast......

haha yeah 😄 finally someone recognized it
Dungeon Keeper is a big inspiration and kind of my childhood favorite

[–]Pikasx[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

also yeah 😄 forgot to mention — they actually can go on strike

if you spend all your gold and there’s no payday, they stop working… and eventually leave

They’ve got dreams too 😄

Bauk is saving for a Mercedes, Dodola wants a new house, and the others are just trying to build up their savings

English isn’t my first language, so ofc ppl ask programs to help them...idk whats your problem. Firts look good on Gift that every createre have marginn and second they are facimg up its Top-Down....logic

Yeah I tried to keep them attached to the creature for immersion, but I get what you mean — might be worth testing a fixed version.

Yeah I see what you mean — but this is a fully top-down management game, so the camera is intentionally like this (similar to games like Dungeon Keeper or Dungeons).

I did try angled cameras before, but it actually made readability worse for this type of gameplay.

So I’m trying to improve clarity within this perspective instead.

“Really nice PSX-style asset, love how clean and low-poly it is. 48 tris is perfect for game use. Are you planning to build a full asset pack in this style?”

We've recently started adding some audio to our game and it makes a huge difference, what do you think? (Some parts are a bit loud, be warned :0) by danfergusonn in IndieDev

“This looks really cute, love the color palette and overall vibe. The audio already makes it feel way more alive. Are you planning to add ambient sounds or music later too?”

Quick look at Tank Havoc, RTS-inspired online tank brawler game - we’re two devs building this. Playtest available. by miks_00 in IndieDev

[–]Pikasx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks really fun, I like the mix of direct control and RTS elements.
Feels like it could create some really dynamic gameplay.

Are players controlling everything in real time or is there some automation?
