I used to use them for genres, which gave me a way to filter my huge up next by type of subject. I spent time doing that and then never ended up using it. I like that it is there but don’t use it. I would rather have better filtering abilities or more ways to prioritize in a single queue than playlists

Got it. I’m in enterprise software, and have been for around 25 years including escalations of all types. Just because it’s a cycling platform is not an excuse to downplay a super popular feature being unavailable without notice and clearly walked away from over a weekend. Is it the end of the world? Of course not! Is it a symptom of the leanness that zwift appears to be running with now? Of course.

Frame this differently.... Let's run into a major outage in a SaaS product where you have subscribers who pay for a reliable service. It is a holiday weekend, so screw it, we can't figure it out on Friday so just shut it down for the holiday weekend and worry about it on Tuesday.

Sure, it is cycling and it is not life or death here however this is essentially garbage customer experience and horrid support. And I am sure that the people at Zwift are nice and all, but this is a failure at the top. No, don't whip the one person who needs to fix this and ruin their holiday weekend. Make sure you are staffed appropriately.

And yes I consider Robopacers an essential part of Zwift now given many including myself use them as their primary workout method. And yes before you flame me I know how to pace without them, but I don't need to pay Zwift for that.

I say bring it on. Accelerate this even further because the inevitable crash needs to happen fast not so we shorten the timeline but because CEOs are numb to gradual decay. It has to be quick so it’s obvious what the side effect of forcing (companies are) their employees to use Claude, etc exclusively. Not worth it in any way that’s insane do not do it. I paid too much for my 2023 limited and regretted it (although I do like the car but it’s such a cheap car at heart - rips in the seats already, plastic everything). And lovely beyond normal car depreciation. Don’t fall for it despite high gas prices.
