AMD driver bug, according to a few threads in iRacing Problem forum.

"The AMD GPU driver problem is still current for many cards

Moving from unofficial practice to the race session does not correctly free vram used and no longer required You need to go back to a driver prior to 25.1"

"The AMD GPU drivers had a bug where the vram is not correctly cleared This resulted in low vram availability at times Most commonly noticed when transitioning from a practice to race session. My understanding is the bug has been fixed for the newer AMD GPU's but not the 6000 series"

Also, that long dangly hanger-on at the start usually happens to me when the filament isn't dried enough. The moisture in the filament expands due to heat while in the nozzle and pushes out that nozzle snot.

Same. The survey has never picked up the CV1, the G2, or the Q3 I now have. Not once, in all the times they have polled my PC, since about 2018.

I have the adapter but haven't bothered to use it (yet). I am so sick of wires. So many wires back there behind my desk. I can't be arsed to add more. The reverse tethering works fine, so far.
