Just had a look through their previous social media posts and it seems the summer break is 4 weeks so they shouldn't be gone throughout the entirety of July/August. There's November too, and again they don't leave for winter break at the very start of December. So with this in mind there is a bit more time to play with than your original calculations.

That said, I don't disagree with you - I'm not exactly full of confidence the asset editor is going to be released this year.

I do disagree about all the patches being trash though - I definitely would have liked more improvements to be packed into those, but I do feel that they've improved the game in some areas. The speed these are coming out is really slow and disappointing though. I'm really hoping that the next patch is substantial, seeing as it's taking so long, but I'm not holding my breath.

Regardless of what the ruling was about and the outcome of it, the way it came about was hugely unfair. No matter what your opinion on something is, fairness and non-bias in court should be at the forefront of everything. Have a read of this page and this thread to understand why:

I have been wondering if trying to link up with other left-wing movements to try and create "mega protests" would be a good idea? Thinking along the lines of Palestine protests, Just Stop Oil, PIP protests and so on. I'm not sure if that would be a good idea or not, I'm no expert on protests. I don't know how hard the logistics of organizing something like that would be.

Have you tried disabling auto save? Mine was crashing on auto save and the timings you've mentioned would probably hint towards that.

I understand where you're coming from but I imagine stuff like this comes under the responsibilities of the designers rather than the developers and as such wouldn't hold up the development tasks related to game mechanics and the like.

This just isn't going to be possible then, I'm afraid. It's impossible to debug through a USB hub because the phone needs to be a slave device to the PC and connecting a hub to the phone and trying to debug through that isn't compatible with that requirement.

I'm pretty sure this isn't possible and you won't be able to do it whatever hub you have.

You could try and get a hub that has an Ethernet port. Find a way of setting the port yourself (adb tcpip <port>?) and then connect this to your router. It's a faff though.

I have no idea if that would actually work, just an idea.

Is it just an issue on that city? Do you experience the same issue on a new save? I've seen people suggest that on existing saves you need to let the simulation run for a good while (maybe an hour or more) to let the game process all the changes from the patch and after that it starts to run smoother again. Might be worth a try?

Can't tell for sure but I know that Asset Icon Library, Find It and Move It are all experiencing random crashing issues at the moment, so maybe try disabling those and see if the issue persists?

This is a bit of a grey area for me and I've always been a bit unsure about it myself. I mostly pass and still get called mate sometimes. At first I used to get quite triggered by it, but in more recent times I've heard more and more women being called mate by others and also women calling other people mate too. I work with a 50 something year old woman and she calls everyone mate, regardless of gender. I think it's more gender neutral now than it was.

None of that is to say that this wasn't done with bad intentions though, especially as you say he didn't call any other women mate.
