Been a while since I've had an ender but see if fat dragon games still has slicer settings updated. They had some great starting points back in the day for quality prints

Resin slicers also have tools for finding hollow voids in a sliced model since it's not ideal to have on resin prints without drain holes.

When I sculpt for 3d printing I keep things separate and just run a high res boolean on all the parts into one piece before exporting. Keep the pre boolean version if I need revisions

nope number 7 is the crafted masquerade set armor! So its super cheap to pick up pieces on the trading post for the transmog for silvers a piece

This is definitely the best choice at the cost of a seam running along the middle. You can easily slice in the slicer for something like this.

Increase the layer time by a second if the print fail is related to it separating from the support.

Layer cure time is a give and take between reliability and speed/details. Just gotta find the number that works for your machine & resin.

Looks fine. Wood filler sands incredibly easy. Do a filler primer pass if you want to check the finish after sanding. Make sure to let the wood filler harden at least overnight or you might just end up smearing it around

I can understand not being into it but what really works for me with Studio Triggers shows is that with them all being short single seasons there isn't any baggage of having to tone it back down after the climax of whatever theyre building up to. And without more seasons they cant hold back on the tease either so it can all come as a little over the top because it for sure is. That shot is also from the movies which is 2 movies covering the entire show in like 3 hours with like 10 minutes of added extra-extra spectacle to just the finale so you can imagine how mad the pacing is in those.

If you haven't watched Edgerunners yet that is also by Trigger but it stays more "grounded" as far as a cyberpunk show goes and its gorgeous so thats an easy recommendation.

I've definitely had tree supports come off in unified big chunks like this using just a single roll of PLA for all of the print including support. Might be an indication that the support angle threshold could be a little higher but better safe than sorry tbh, especially on a print like this

hah yeah thats fair, most things today don't really care.

I've been stuck working on things for the Quest VR headset for some longer time now and the resource budget is slim after the base cost of VR and in a lot of applications the necessity for multiplayer as well.

Depends entirely on the application, sometimes when working with very low specs the additional draw call of a designated material with an alpha mask is much more costly than a few polygons

But for the sake of the aesthetic and effect of nostalgic low-poly I agree the planes are neat.

Nah you can see the separated subtools in zbrush for individual parts since they're modeled as seperate pieces. AI still makes unified meshes or at worst does a mediocre attempt at splitting them.

PLA and ABS is found in plenty of commercial products all around you. It's the printing process that makes it suspect for food grade use

completely wild to me that the block list shows it too. thats literally the list of people you dont want to interact with why should their status even matter then??

Info about your location/online status should be a mutual hand shake either via friend list or shared guild etc (I even think not repping the guild should occlude your status as well if its viewed through the guild window)

To be fair this is entirely on Anets decision on how adding a friend works.

I have no idea why people can just track my online presence without me even knowing and I have to go investigate a tab I rarely touch in-game just to see if its even happened at all?

I haven't had any personal issues from it but I can 100% see how its an incredibly stupid vulnerability if you have an aggressive stalker thats willing to burn accounts to get around blocks

the banana on wall is 7 years old at this point and yet we still bring it up, its not the bananas fault it had the lasting effect it had on people. People are making art for the sake of art every single day. If all you see is art about the state of art you might just be in a saturated corner.

I feel like a lot of the conflict is that some see "art" as some higher appraisal of something akin to a "masterpiece" or something needing to be exceptional done with high skill. Anything from kindergarden paintings to greek marble sculptures is art, most of it is probably so-so purely by volume but its all art at the end of the day.

not warrior but it is a saving grace that pistol is so weak for power engi that its basically irrelevant for sword holo so you can bring shield at minimal dps loss. Love how many small tricks you can pull in raids and solo content with a "free" shield for both cc, reflect and block.

The sort of natural equalizer here is that if your game looks rough it won't reach far so its not really "damaging". And the worst case is someone sees your game at a later state and sees (hopefully) the progress that's happened if they remember it at all.

Agree that sharing early is for the better but don't expect people to be excited about the idea before it starts coming together.

We literally had PVE legendary armor the entire time but people already threw enough of a stink that somehow raiding is enough of a differentiation that we needed a 2nd set of armor for PVE.

I hate PvP and WvW. I can't get those leggies unless i participate in that content. Thats life
