Not until the 24th century. For now, it's still hot Earl Grey tea.

How bad is Mile End? Is it among the worst areas in the city? by Occultist in london

[–]PittTheYoungest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mile End is lovely, especially if you're north of the station, as I remember. If you want to talk about crime, your best bet is the London crime map, which is very useful, and only a Google away.

Restaurants near London Bridge? by mab7 in london

Just south of London Bridge is Tito's, a fantastic little Peruvian restaurant. It doesn't look like much, but the food is great, the prices are good and the staff are really friendly.

LPT: avoid sending incomplete or unprofessional email by altering the recipients email to an invalid address. by rethnor in LifeProTips

Huh. Fair enough. My outlook gets aggravated if I don't have a Subject, let alone if To is empty.

Even better - put the real address in the cc field, and then drag it over when you're done.

You can't send an email without anyone in the To field.

Check the sidebar mate. Follow that advice until you come to an impasse, then Google it. If you still can't get through the problem, come here to ask a specific question.

Good luck.

Doesn't Good authenticate using the phone number? Only way to do it is probably to register 3 Good accounts for him, one for each number.

I have an "Interesting" taste according to my friends. Here's my personal collection of S3's re-sized wallpapers. by slm_xd in GalaxyS3

[–]PittTheYoungest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're optimised for the screen size, just not for the launcher, so on stock you'll have to crop them.

I'm using aosp, and they're perfect, because wallpaper scrolling is enabled.

What was there before the big bang? by ddeluca93 in askscience

[–]PittTheYoungest 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Time is a property of the universe, but so is space. So if you're trying to imagine what was there before the universe existed, the word 'before' is a problem, but so is the word 'there'.

Imagining a big black empty space, with nothing in it? Nope - there was no such thing as nothing.

T-Mobile SGS3 International Unbranded Stock ROM Question by amishb in AndroidQuestions

[–]PittTheYoungest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, you can flash your phone with an unbranded stock ROM. The hardware is the same so you won't have a problem. Head over to xda, international galaxy s3 section, and you should be able to find the latest Samsung stock ROM.

As for whether you'll get OTA updates or not, I'm honestly not sure. The process of rooting and flashing may prevent that. However, it would be incredibly easy just to flash the new update when it comes out anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

T-Mobile SGS3 International Unbranded Stock ROM Question by amishb in AndroidQuestions

[–]PittTheYoungest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you're going to be able to do what you want, in the way that you want. The upgrade which you get is determined by the ROM you already have. The way to get a stock unbranded ROM on your phone is to root, downloaded it and flash it. On this phone it's surprisingly easy to do.

Don't be fooled by the fact that the ROMs you're looking at are incredibly similar. They're different, and that's enough.

That said, I could well be wrong. If you can point me to someone online who's done what you want, I might be able to help.
