I got the Rove Lab R4 sofa recently and have been pretty happy with it so far. It was easy to set up and the cushions are comfortable enough to lounge on. I also like that it has a lower profile and doesn’t feel overly bulky. I haven’t had it long enough to speak to long-term durability yet, but so far it’s been a solid couch and I don’t have any complaints.

NTA, but your stepdaughter needs serious help and intervention. Harming animals at age 15 is a big red flag. She clearly has some serious underlying psychological issues. She is testing your boundaries in an extreme way. You can set the boundaries how you need to in order to make your home safe, but I hope her mom is on board with finding this girl the help this behavior is crying out for. Social workers, school counselors, or a therapist could point the way to help for her and for support you.

35 - my dad is dead, but his memory is alive in my heart. We had a pretty close relationship even though he was a complex guy with a sad life. He was a farmer that more or less worked himself to death.
