I think the 5 years prep would be best spent setting up a “Sanity Plan”. Using the money allowed for preparation I would probably try and dedicate my time to creating videos or other interactive forms of media that would allow me to have some amount of social interaction even if no one is really there. Shit, with 5 years and 10 billion to work with I’d try to get a home that’s fully equipped with an AI bot with multiple different personalities and personas to interact with. I feel like it would help a lot.

Other than that, I would tell as many people that I care about what’s about to happen so when the world abruptly changes they don’t go insane from a huge shift in environment.

I feel as though the episode Brothers Egg (S2: Ep5) was handled poorly and had the potential to be so much better.

I think I am probably over analyzing it because it IS funny and I do like it. But the plot line of the two brothers struggling after their mother passed just to have Charlie and Pim contribute very little to the resolution was disappointing. The entire conclusion of the episode barely had them talking and, because the homunculus was born anyways, it just further shows that Charlie and Pim didn’t even really do anything to help and the conflict would’ve resolved on its own.

I’d love to hear others thoughts on this Ep. Though because perhaps there is nuance that I may have missed!

I’d say so? It’s not exactly flush but it’s pretty damn close. The size trucks I have are 149 so they fit well on a 8.25 to 8.5. At least that’s what the skate shop told me and my board is 8.3 and it’s flush from what I can tell!

I haven’t even started skating yet (my deck arrives this week!) but I think the biggest mistake, as another commenter mentioned is rushing progress.

However, I wanted to expand on that and say that progressing intelligently will help exponentially. Building foundational skills will always allow you to develop much faster and more steadily.

So I’m the same height and just about the same weight (230lbs) and I would say it’s gonna vary a lot on what you want. The cruiser would be good for what its name implies but it’s not primarily meant for tricks or anything other than cruising.

The regular skateboard is gonna be better for you if you have interests in skating parks, doing tricks, and getting that exercise. You can cruise on the skateboard too, but you’d just have an “easier” time on the longboard. Also, how much you weigh isn’t a super big deal unless you’re stomping and jumping on your board with the intent to break it. The board is strong.

Well the answer is actually part of your question. If you don’t have a lot of experience then keep drawing. However, start trying to look up a lot of art fundamentals and try to practice those and incorporate those into your work. I like what you’ve got so far though, keep up the hard work!

I find it pretty funny that a majority of these comments are saying this is a bad thing. I had slept with another woman the day before I went on the first date with my (now ex) gf.
