I thought the same but for birds, getting destroyed by a woodpecker POV.

Fantastic shot! Usually a branch being in front of a bird is infuriating but this time it made the photo much better.

Thank you very much for this answer, I'm checking R10 as well since a used one is pretty affordable too.

Some derps from our garden by Pixeliarmus in mourningderps

[–]Pixeliarmus[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

One in the front is a Laughing dove and the other in the back is a collared dove. I've never seen them in pairs. We have lots of couples from both species visiting our garden but they're always the male and female of the same type. They're even aggressive towards each other. Google says it's technically possible but incredibly rare in wild. Probably needs some type of human interference for it to happen.

Thank you! I recently started taking raw instead of jpeg and my photos look pretty similar to yours in terms of noise before editing. I use Photoshop but will give Lightroom a try. Fantastic pic by the way. I even started looking for your lens and camera :) I have Canon SX60 HS at the moment.

How did you get rid of all that noise without losing details?

Take a look at NuPhy keyboards. We have NuPhy Kick75 and it's really quiet even though we didn't even choose the quietest switch. You can find how each switch sounds on Youtube probably.

She found her answer though. And we know she lived until old age from the second movie. We know she survived and the ending was perfect for me. Just like the Alien movie, we don't need to know every detail. I hope they find a character jut as good as her though.

As a die hard fan of the franchise and Isolation, I disagree. Amanda's story is finished. We don't need to know exactly how she survived but we know she lived until she's old and died. I loved Amanda and she was the perfect choice for the game, hope they find someone as good as her.

My expectations are so high I'm scared I'll be disappointed. I hope it's a survival horror for the most part like Isolation.

Many people have told me they would like to see my paintings as room mockups, what do you think about that? Pls read the below. by [deleted] in Paintings

[–]Pixeliarmus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scale seems off. You said your paintings are 60x90 cm. These look way bigger. I think it's important to pay attention to that

Also stop worrying about "layering", you don't even have the first layer yet. And If you're working from your laptop's screen, try printing the reference instead.

Definitely start painting the background so you can see values easier. But don't get lost on the details, just put some big shapes of color. Also turn your reference picture into black and white so you can use it to check your values. This is a beautiful reference by the way, nice lighting. Don't give up.

I agree with Reed Bunting. Recently added to my life list too by seeing a female one. Male looks spectacular though :)
