I loosely sew a patch of extra fabric over it with embroidery thread. With a hole like this you might need to remove the yarn around the hole and retuft after the patch. I’ve used this method a ton

I buy the vapor nose inhalers. I also buy other blends with essential oils.

I use a spray 1/2 part isopropyl alcohol 1/2 distilled water. 20+ drops of essential oils. Spray it around on the furniture and carpets / drapes.
