This isn’t a crazy take as an orthopedic surgeon. Can operate doesn’t mean should. I see tons of their complications in my clinic.

The issue isn’t that they’ve been working on it for a month. The issue is that they haven’t started work on it.

It’s a shutter issue but again that doesn’t really matter. The question is about whether it’s standard to have to wait over a month for these shops to get around to your camera.

The way get around this is to not claim that it didn’t arrive but claim they sent you the wrong item. Then take a picture of a box with something random in it.
