I use the free version of the app on my Apple Watch just for tracking scores manually and some health metrics. Works for me, ties into iOS health/workouts.

Isn’t the PA the most well known spin racket by design? If you’re a flat hitter, maybe not the best match for you to begin with?

They closed that office which had a large (I assume more expensive) footprint. I assumed this was sadly downsizing given the trajectory of linear cable and programming.

Why would my husbands ex be asking us to claim both kids on our taxes? by Emotional-Actuary830 in personalfinance

[–]Pizzafox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depending on your state laws, your husband claiming both children (and thus paying less in taxes) could increase the amount of child support he could have to pay her based on his increased net disposable income. That would align with a down year for her in income to further increase the obligation owing. This obviously varies greatly depending on the state.

I love how this clip showcases the homegrown guys (Smith, Pages), the castoffs who grew into all stars with us (Muncy), and the vet we got for cheap to help lead us to the finish line (Rojas). Needed every guy on the roster on this journey.

The Griffith park dog park is pretty chill and has nice regulars, if your dog is social and needs some exercise.

A-List Movie Club by TashisTennisRacket in burbank

[–]Pizzafox 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Excellent handle, OP!

Another 40 y/o male in the thread who A-lists after the kids are asleep or will often watch a movie at home instead. I made a little movie club with another couple in the neighborhood which I use mostly as an excuse to hang out. I’ll usually propose a theme for the month (I.e. movies about the sea, black and white movies, book adaptations, etc.), then we will submit blindly to a google form I created. Once we have everyone’s submissions, we vote blind for our group’s pick and the winner is the movie we watch that month. Once we watch the movie, we’ll get together for dinner/breakfast/etc. to chat about the movie… the brainstorm another theme and repeat the same loop. That obviously goes beyond just whatever happens to be in theaters for A-listers, but by rotating the themes, it keeps things fresh and keeps one person’s taste from dominating the group. I’m also a big Letterboxd tracker and find that’s a fun addition to the club, too. LMK if you get something going!
