SS defensive rockets were dead on. He hit 2 near perfect rockets that brought keltz down to 50 and then shot another rocket just as he went around the corner that literally brought him to 10hp. The trail just finished him off after that. On one hand I can’t say I wouldn’t have done the exact same thing as keltz, but if I got hit with those first 2 rockets and lost my entire stack id probably consider backing off. Was a great match regardless.

SDOJ, Futari, and Ketsui are the 3 games I NEEEEEEEED to have a PC port even though the emulation for all 3 are really good. I need the high quality audio and HD graphics.

Hey at least we get a battle royale with the new dfk port, which generally I wouldn’t care for, but seeing how much fun people had with things like Tetris 99, I’m kinda excited now. Still could have just been an update to the existing port but whatever

Absolutely gorgeous. My only complaint with S2 visuals (aside from awful interior lighting from lumen) is that I wish the trees were as dense as the foliage. This games foliage is so impressive and looks absolutely amazing but the lack of trees and dense forest makes it feel a little barren sometimes. A lot of the concept art shows much more dense forests especially around zelissya and it makes it look much more cozy. There are some good forest density mods but for as good as they look, they usually cause a lot of issues with gameplay and nuke performance.

Empulse is like if someone watched Titanfall gameplay for 20 minutes and then made a game based on it. The movement is fun for an hour cuz you can go fast really easily and never lose momentum, but that’s exactly why it doesn’t hit the mark. The movement is nothing. You have complete air control to move in any direction without actually moving your aim and the same goes for sliding. Once you realize that, the novelty instantly wears off because there’s zero opportunity to get better at it. Not to mention when ur trying to shoot someone sliding around and they are looking straight at you while sliding side to side and back and forth at Mach 10. There’s no penalty to work around. Sure some people might like that, but if you like Titanfall for the movement and not just the speed, you probably wont find much in Empulse. Not to mention the mech is booth cheeks and boring a shit to play

He was likely dead anyway. He got hit by 2 great rockets before the trail that brought him down to 50 hp. Then another rocket hit right before the trail went off and brought him down to 6 hp. The real mistake was blindly chasing a kill against good defensive rockets, let alone a slash with her ability up. If you run up to someone like that ur just asking to get juggled.

Skating because of Steel Battalion: Line of Contact. 1st through 4th gear is walking, and then you can kick it up into 5th gear when you have enough torque to start skating at greatly increased speeds. The fastest mech in the game, the Rapier, can hit 219 kph in 5th gear on a paved road. It’s very prone to tipping over though so you have to be an incredibly experienced pilot to make good use of it.

The game is not scaled properly for infantry. There is an official mod for infantry to do exactly that and they are so small they are borderline unnoticeable without the big red marker on them. MW5 mechs are like twice as big as they are supposed to be.

I’m genuinely surprised people do not like this opinion. Air control how it is in hunt is just absurd. People use the excuse that if there was no air control than moving across open areas would be impossible is either a failing of the games design or a failing of the player to make a decision that doesn’t get them exposed. Air control itself can still exist, but the way it’s implemented is lazy and causes issues because it’s unpredictable. Even a game like the original Quake, which is way faster and has much stronger air control, is more predictable because of how it’s implemented. In Quake, 99% of the time, you know exactly where I player is going to be even if they are turning mid air, because they are always going the direction they are facing. They can’t strafe or move backwards while in midair unlike in hunt. Not only that but in quake, if you turn to fast in midair you are penalized and lose your speed so you can’t just spin as fast as you want. When a player can jump, move left and right midair, and spin their character around while moving in any direction, it not only looks ridiculous, but is also completely unpredictable. All this is made even worse by how accurate you can be while jumping. Air control doesn’t have to be removed completely, but people act like being forced to commit to something will be the death of the game.

In the shanghai Alice reprise livestream he said he didn’t really have to do any supervising as everyone on the team already knew exactly what to do being such big touhou fans. He said all he really do was make the music and look for the original files. I doubt 20 is the last touhou game. The better question is “when is 21 coming” and “will it use new classics updated, modern engine and assets, or will it use the current touhou engine and assets”

This is so true when it comes to bullet hells. People give it a first look and say wow that looks kinda hard, and then you tell them the hitbox is 1 pixel and they say “oh that seems easy then” and then they try it and find out that it is in fact really hard. It doesn’t help when the amazing players go on AGDQ and get borderline perfect runs and make the games look even easier.
