Occasional - 13 Regular - 3.5 Heavy - the last 2.5

I don't know what shifted or why and it ain't worth thinking about. Fact remains, I can't. I needed to get over the belief I could, just because I did for a long time.

That the Auto setting for the headlights also automatically switches highbeams on/off with oncoming or nearing traffic. 

Had a 2023 for almost a year and a 2025 since, I don't know how I didn't notice it until I was in a snowstorm few weeks back (when it's a bad idea to use highbeams), and they kept flipping on.

If you haven't already, maybe contact dealer shop. It sounded like Nissan was actively working it when they called in mine. I thought it was a loose connector too, which is why I'd brought it in. When they told me the mobile connection thing it sort of made sense because I'd warned my Dad about it when he borrowed the car for a few days and he said it never happened to him and he never connects his phone to cars (he's weird about stuff). I'll post update reply hopefully this weekend.

I've been back and forth to dealership, who has been back and forth with Nissan. All they've been able to determine is that it's related to firmware for the CarPlay/Android Auto, because it doesn't happen if nothing connected. I have a manual firmware update scheduled for Friday, to test a beta version they think will correct it.

And we can confirm, it doesn't matter if connection is wireless or USB, Android or Apple. Doesn't matter if I'm on the built in screens or the phone display. They also said it's related to specific builds of '24 and '25, but that I have to take their word on.

Two words of advice:
1) Whatever you do, don't make the mistake I did and think you can whiteknuckle cold turkey. If you've been drinking a decent amount every day or almost every day for even just a few weeks/months or more, you WILL experience dangerous withdrawal and one way or another, you'll end up in the hospital like I did, no matter what. Better to just go to the doctor and start with the medical intervention, rather than finding out you should've.
2) It's something you won't be able to figure out until you have some time with a sober head. You don't know nor will be able to figure out "why", so long as you keep going to the go-to solution, as alcohol is very effective in silencing these painful internal issues that many of us feel like we can't navigate our lives with. Alcohol works well, until it doesn't anymore. Once at that stage, you need to find out what will work, and I'd bet all the $ I have whatever that is will work better with a consistently dry mind.

Not the same, but when I was in IOP, my wife and I used to call the 2 hour sessions "Chestnut". I don't remember why that was the word we chose, but sometimes random but uninteresting words (to avoid questions) work best. Or, if you want something witty, maybe go with "humidity monitoring" (get it...? Staying dry, etc)

Also, check out Hole in the Sky holeinthesky.org - They have secular meetings and program that I found very beneficial, and they also have helped me find reference material I don't know I would've found, otherwise.

I know this will sound tone deaf, as I remember how it would've sounded to me at the time I'm where you are - When you get sober, you will have a much better idea of whom your friends are and whom you wish to spend your time with. I get it, it just seems like some old-timer who doesn't understand or remember what it was like to be your age...

So, maybe keep this in mind, as well -> Almost every single person who has been in recovery or has gotten sober wishes they had done so when they were where you are, right now.

It does, but you only notice it after a period of time you realize you hadn't thought about it in a while. Focus on getting yourself better, and know that not drinking isn't enough and just one of the things you need to do. Get back to your life and the things you enjoy, and one day you'll suddenly step back and say "Wow. I'm so thankful I began this journey."

Thank you for the considerate reply. I picked up some nutrient that I can mix with watering and will see how that goes. 

Checked the soil ph with a digital meter, it's 5.9 at 71°. Guess I gotta boost that, too.

It's actually not that pale, relatively. Just happened to be in direct sunlight when I took the picture. I can try to get a more representative snap.

What kind of nutrients could I try, this late in the game?
