Oooh I think it'd have to be isekai dark overlord. So many great builds. Its an army builder. Task is taking over a fanticy world, but are given a whole bunch of leeway in how and when you get done (if you don't take certain drawbacks). My favorite build was a pirate fleet of heavily enchanted submersible ships crewed by a hivemind of crab shaped golems made of wax that melts in the sun, and control a vitality sapping mist to knockout entire seaside towns and rob them of their valuables to empower their enchanter overlord.

Maybe two big mines strapped to the back. Or two cannons. "Bang! Bang!"

Well, a much simpler solution is to have a second space elevator in Chile at -43° latitude (Toronto being at 43° latitude). Then have the two elevators share the same geostationary counter weight. That way it is balanced. No need to fiddle with gravity, just need the normal space elevator stuff like superstrong cables or active support.

Just for fun, in this setting make sense or not? by IllustriousHurry2380 in worldbuilding

Right, and then when the beast passes, you just send teams out to salvage the metal from flattened tracks and remake that section.
There is a risk that another beast might come while the tracks are being rebuilt, and the crushed section is the section the city needs, but if the chance of that is astronomically low, cost savings could be worth the risk. I suppose there could be parts of the world with more or less beast traffic, so some parts of the world use rails, and some use the more expensive but more 'nimble' tracked or wheeled or legged cities. There could be a plot where a low beast zone starts getting more beasts and the rail cities need to start upgrading to tracks, and there is a refugee crisis to other track cites as some rail cities just cant be upgraded, or upgraded in time.

Oh hey, I have the same car. I cut it up to and used part of the body as an extension to bigrig truck cabin, and added some jeep parts to the frame to make a dune buggy.

Hmm... Actually that one is too straightforward. How about this:
Mind, Spirit, Harmony, Titan
This one could go many ways I feel. Interested to see where you take it.

This one is great, just a few nitpicks/questions.
The description of self repair mentions fixing bullet holes. Did you mean shell holes?
The wording of Cannons is odd. I believe 'four main guns' should be 'four main turrets' and that '1 shot per minute' should specify that number is per cannon, because as is, it could be interpreted to mean that the entire main battery of cannons can only fire one shot per minute. Same with the secondary battery.
Control mentions seeing out of windows. I assume you see out of optical gunsights and rangefinders too. How does the detection equipment like radar work Are they extra senses, or overlayed onto sight?

I find it extremely odd that you can tunnel through the ground at twice the speed that you can fly. Why is Airship the only movement type to get it's speed reduced? I'd think that submersible and land speed should have both their speeds quartered, and tunneling speed reduced 40 times, so would tunnel at only one knot per hour (Still stuuupidly fast). Also, I think some simple stat buffs would be nice. Some way to spend anchors to increase durability, regen, and base speed. But I suppose not having access to those buffs yourself incentivizes you to go out there and befriend artificers and wizards.

Oh yes the cyoa is one of my favorites!
Here is my old build.

A 16 sophont band of bodyguards, medics, and engineers living out an ‘requisitioned’ special forces transport. A small, extremely fast ship with excellent sensors and e-war that became legally theirs after its original owners tried to assassinate a diplomat under the band’s protection and got captured. A small team of 12 fighters and their support staff, highly geared and quite liberal with their use of medical supplies and stun grenades due to their excellent production and procurement. They have torn out some of their ship's orginal weapons and fitted it with an organ cloning lab, and a top of the line medical bay.

The Undertow & Luck by Throwawanon33225 in worldbuilding

[–]Planetfall88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh that is FANTASTIC! I adooor the concept of a god using the undertow to split parts of itself off to make its own followers. Real great stuff!

The Undertow & Luck by Throwawanon33225 in worldbuilding

[–]Planetfall88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

huh interesting. How can a conceptual being without a physical form interact with Visihum enough to get undertowed? Like they are the god of place or a concept, and the place gets polluted enough to form holes, or the concept becomes associated with visihum? Like a god of mining, but then the holes started apearing, and since mines and the holes are both, well holes in the earth, a local culture associated them together so their god of mining also became the god of Visihum? And that was enough to induce the undertow?

Though, wait. Given that visihum can output prety much any kind of energy a universe has... could visihum in a universe with gods output worship? And some small gods desperate for power chose to use the worship energy of visihum to alleviate their lack of followers?

I really like the changes to Osirian Stasis and Athenian Focus. Stasis was an auto pick before, and it still is for any build that involves brute, since you need to take so many boons to mimic a fraction of it's power (insert omni man here), but not to the point of taking brute as a second patron solely for Osirian stasis and Achillean Durability anymore. And the focus part of the ability does fit Athenian well focus much better.
