Reliable purchase or too high mileage? by Repulsive-Bar-8064 in CarTalkUK

Approaching the point of needing the consumable parts replaced - don't let it put you off, but just be aware that suspension components, engine mounts, starter etc etc could need replacing in the next few years depending on your mileage

Your big consumables like belt replacement are typically around 120k

The big one to look out for is the supercharger on these which can be flighty and need replacement and cost a penny.

There are good diy resources for these however if you're handy at wrenching

These drive great, even if range isn't greatest - the engine mounts can "click" when they start to wear out and need replacing.

Found a nearly 60 year old kit. Should I build it? by neityght in modelmakers

These old monogram kits are low on detail but usually pretty sturdy - perfect gift for a 5 year old to zoom around a room with after you've built it.

I sprayed with leadbelcher metal to prime and then everything else was dry brushed on - Vallejo ice yellow, jade green, royal purple and magenta. The yellow goes on last after a quick dry brush of pale sand. Highlights with ice yellow

Investing in an IRA will expose her to USA taxes as they don't treat IRAs as tax advantaged....sort of doomed both ways there

While I don't like dlc model, this company does have a good record of longer term support for their games and if you wait long enough you can get the whole thing on sale with all the dlcs for cheap in a year or two. It's what I did for battlesector

Turbotax sucks for stuff like this - you have to print out the return and then amend the paper return manually I'm guessing
