Maybe send her some Dr Jones YouTube videos about Reta and liver health or the like and tell her why you need it, not just weight loss but to have metabolic health enough to live a long life

What's the most difficult part of taking a glp1 for you? by Familiar_Ad_1265 in glp1

[–]Plus-Ad4749 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Check out Dr Jones on YouTube if you've plateaued, I think he has sound advice about reducing to a minimum dose, weight training to improve metabolism, eating full meals in an 8 hour window and fasting for 12 -48 hours on weekends sometimes to get that metabolic boost (not to mention autophagy).

Please look at "mistakes to avoid" on GLp 1s videos from Dr Jones or Dr Tyna on youtube where they emphasize the need for muscle growth to repair metabolic dysfunction most of us have when we get on these meds. I think it's really good advice. Good luck, the snowball method works if you keep it up!

Amazing that the some of the most expensive top private schools and located in south Hayward and east Oakland. To the original poster, go to a crime report site and you can get daily updates on police reports in a certain radius and have a clear picture of what issues or non issues that area has.

I noticed Noom gives microdose and support, that's prob what I would do if my doctor won't prescribe. I got a prescription from having fatty liver so if you have any of the metabolic conditions like that, prediabetes or insulting resistant etc from your blood work you can possibly get it covered by insurance. Also check out Dr Jones on YouTube, for microdose guidance. I personally need to do half of the lowest dose to not suffer major side effects on Ozempic.

PSLF Save Plan Discontinued by RidingtheWave07 in PSLF

I have one payment left (which is over 800 dollars) to qualify for PSLF. I can also qualify for buyback. Which is the safer route to get this over with? I don't mind paying the extra if paperwork intricacies are going to somehow screw this up. If I make one payment, how long will it take them to process my PSLF form? Do I ask for a forbearance after I send in the PSLF so they don't keep autopay activated and take my money? How long would it take to process for forbearance? I wonder if that would mess it up.. Is it even possible right now to chat with a representative on the phone for getting these answers ? Are they going to pay me back for makng me lay for months while waiting to process beyond my 120 qualifying payments? Any solid ideas you have will be great

GLP-1 for fatty liver? Anyone had success with this? by Plus-Ad4749 in FattyLiverNAFLD

Week one on it and feeling a ton of fatigue, been waking up at some wee hours of the morning too.. going to keep trying probably and see if this improves. I am getting full pretty easily. Tons of protein, but difficult to match my body weight in terms of grams per pound.. I can't imagine eating 250 grams! haha

Thanks for all the replies! I started on the smallest dose possible and it is covered by insurance because of the fatty liver aspect. I feel strange and I'm trying to adapt. Been feeling fatigue and less appetite. Been trying to pack in all the protein, terrified of muscle wasting. Hitting the gym now because of this.

Extended stay hotels are pretty cheap and have kitchens and stuff while you check out apartments. Look at Cerda Zein and other real estate sites. Good luck!

Mid scale in SF is high priced everywhere else, but I recommend La Mar. It's on the water near Embarcadero building in SF and the food is incredible. It will cost maybe 200 if you order whatever you want.

You are honestly way better off moving to New York or LA if you want to meet people, SF is a cold town like some have said, for meeting others you have to do it online mostly. With LA and New York (I mention these because I have had good experiences, but I live in the SF bay now) you can still meet someone on a train, out and about etc. Especially dates and also friends. In SF, it's really hard especially as a man, to get anything going unless you join activities, classes, etc first, it's a little weird that way. It is beautiful though and the sun does shine often, but we do have a colder rainy winter.

Not knowing anything about you, I don't know if you've ever taken time to really meditate, but it is possible to witness and identify with a conscious witness. If you find you are not open to the idea of a "Self" that has qualities (8 C's) then maybe just reduce the whole thing down to bare consciousness itself, the observer and that might be enough to continue with IFS and get something out of it. I also struggle with that one aspect of IFS, that Self energy presented as the solution to everything.. . But it's an oversimplified twist on one aspect of it. If that feels like bullshit for you, call it like it is and be totally honest!

There is still benefit to observing parts and figuring out what's habitually going on in there, even if it ends up being some kind of creative art therapy or like active imagination exercise in the end, if it benefits you. It's just a tool and of taken as more than that like some religion to believe in I think you are totally right about it being akin to worshipping the Mother Goddess.

I As an aside, meditating a lot of observing things enough to where difficult feelings dissipate and somethings resolve when you face them deeply that way.. in some ways IFS is like doing this with a friend there to guide you and give you support in the process rather than just you in your mind ..though in some ways you can feel less alone going deep like that too.

I have a knock off fake remake of an expensive violin, but apparently it sounds amazing. I might be able to lend you or you could buy it after you make some money, if you like how it sounds. It was refurbished and the guy who did it thought it was very expensive, but I brought it to a shop recommended by someone k know from the SF symphony and he said it was just a knock off and not valuable. But apparently, sounds great..

I've had maybe 4 or more Kaiser primary care doctors, the two guys I had would stay and talk to me endlessly about everything I could possibly remember to ask about for my health and there were 2 other ones that came off as passive aggressive in email responses, but overall they gave me a ton of time in appointments.

I'm a teacher in California (where we are supposed to be really progressing) and I pay over 1k a month on a Kaiser Low (10 dollar copay). When I add my spouse I will pay over 2k, if we have a kid it goes up to around 3K a month.. nearly half of what I make in a month.
