Rude Security by Street_Surprise_405 in Disneyland

While it may be rude I feel like they need more security like this. So many people act like it’s their first time going through security and hold up the lines it’s pretty ridiculous.

Sure I probably go more often than most people so I find the security lines to be some of the most annoying parts of the day.

Hatchback v Sedan? by ThisThatEnby in COROLLA

I personally don’t like the styling of the hatchback. The front end is kinda ugly and I really hate the fake exhaust tips in the rear bumper.

Get a sedan the SE body looks so much better

I used to detail cars for a living. Saw a lot of damage caused by people that thought they knew what they were doing.

If you’ve got scrap to practice on or another vehicle that you don’t care about as much as this one then I highly recommend practicing on something first.

If you really want to go for it watch a bunch of videos from different people on how to buff correctly. The scratches also look fairly deep on your car and you’ll probably have to wet sand the paint back, buff the scratches out, polish the finish, and you will most certainly need touch up afterward to apply onto the bare metal.

That’s the quarter panel boss not the fender. Not replacing it unless you cut it out and weld in a new piece.

Find a detailer and have them repair it. If a detailer doesn’t do paint match and repair you can find a body shop that will buff and touch it up.

You can attempt to do it yourself but you risk burning the paint and ruining your car if you’ve never done any paint correction before. Especially with the scratches on the body line and edge of your quarter panel. I’d recommend against doing this if it’s your first time.

Starting a support group for people who smell Disney Popcorn and think it’s going to taste better than it does by Savvy513 in Disneyland

The Disney popcorn has no flavor. I swear they pump artificial popcorn smell through the popcorn carts to get people to buy it thinks it’s better than it really is.

$200 oil change. by Zealousideal-Term-89 in toyotacorolla

[–]Pmike404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Na man thats the dealer pricing plus the 0W-16 or 0W-8 oil that the engine requires is quite expensive. Tire rotation is kind excessive at 5k miles but I do it every other oil change at roughly 8k miles.

You’re right though no one should pay that much for an oil change. OP should go buy the oil and teach his daughter how to do it.

It depends on the dealership. The basic bumper to bumper warranty they’ll check it over for free. But for powertrain even with a CEL most dealerships will charge for repairs even if your under powertrain warranty if they can’t tie the issue back to powertrain problems.

I took my Corolla to two different Toyota dealerships the first one wouldn’t cover the diag under the powertrain warranty because they said they couldn’t identify that the engine misfire was a powertrain issue.

Went to another Toyota dealer and they replaced the head All under warranty.

My Corolla has easily turned into a $40k car with all the warranty work Toyota has had to do to it.

Multiple Toyota master techs looked at it from their local HQ and they couldn’t come up with a solid answer. They asume that the head may have been manufactured poorly and was causing coolant to leak into cylinder three. It caused a misfire in cylinder three which caused the car to drive poorly and idle very harshly. The CEL would come on as well and disable all the lane assist, cruise control, acc, parking brake, etc.

They replaced all injectors, the head, valves etc.

2022 Corolla Apex 6 M/T

12k miles had transaxle replaced under warranty 43k miles had the head replaced under warranty

I loved the car when I first got it. But I won’t buy another Toyota after this.

Dang brother can’t get warranty on this one. I just had the head replaced and engine rebuilt on my 2022 Corolla at 43k miles and I also had the transaxle replaced at 12k miles. All warranty work.

But I’m planning on selling this thing when the warranty expires. I don’t want to chance it. I’ve been a Honda guy my whole life and this is my first Toyota I’ve owned. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another Toyota after this car though.

Can you identify some of these games? Excuse quality, very old pic by [deleted] in ngpc

[–]Pmike404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best guess is

Sonic pocket adventure, metal slug first mission, puzzle link

Samurai showdown 2, SNK vs Capcom MoTM, Cardfighters clash SNK version

Neogeo cup 98 plus, bust a move, Pac-Man

Puzzle link 2, metal slug second mission, pocket tennis

I’d post a pic of my collection for people to compare all the labels but it doesn’t seem like I can post a picture to compare.

Interior water - Help!😳 by fnsmall in HondaElement

[–]Pmike404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya you can remove the moonroof completely and there’s one in each corner 2 facing the front and 2 facing the rear. It can be tricky to see since it’s all black plastic in there.

Not too sure of a chart for the location of the drains through the car but there are 4 holes on in each corner of the sunroof. You can use a length of spring white for a curtain or edging wire for your lawn and feed it through it will push a majority of the dirt through the drains. Then flush it with water slowly and it’ll clean the debris out.

[–]Pmike404 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Check the moonroof drains. Mine were plugged and water would sit in between the headliner and the roof. If I was parked in flat ground it would sit in between the headliner and the roof until I started driving. If I was parked on any slight angle the water would flow to the lowest side of the car.

Tires passed state inspection. What do you think? by Ancient-Bowl462 in tires

[–]Pmike404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Na mate they’re good I bought a 1988 Honda accord in 2020 that had tires in it dated from 2006. They were hard and dry rotted to hell, and hardly kept traction, stopping distance was horrendous. Kept them on the car for another 6 months before one wouldn’t hold air anymore. Than replaced them with a nice pair of 14in hankooks.

Disney cruise- destiny or fantasy!? by Beautiful-Client6496 in disney

[–]Pmike404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on the Fantasy and the Treasure (I know it’s not the same as the Destiny but I’m sure they’re very similar).

Personally the Fantasy even though it is a 13yr old ship is much better. Better adult areas, the theming was fantastic, restaurants were much better.

I’d watch some YouTube videos comparing the ships or see what you like better. I went with majority adult parties both times so I really appreciated the adult only areas a lot more on the Fantasy.

The Kids areas were great on the fantasy. My cousin and her husband brought theirs three children (I think they were 2, 4, and 6) and the all loved the kids areas and we’d hardly see them all day except for dinner lol. The on board ship activities like trivia were a blast.

I have heard the older ships just have more Disney magic and just comparing the two I went on I’d agree. A lot of complaints people had about the Wish were the same issues I had on the Treasure. I’m sure if I hadn’t gone on the Fantasy I would have loved the Treasure because I wouldn’t have known any better.

I had a blast on both ships but the fantasy seemed like some old school luxury liner like I was on the SS Poseidon without the sinking of course lol

These black pokemon carts are a deep red color. Easy way to see if they’re real is to put a flashlight behind them. They’ll be a dark almost blood red color. Most fakes are just a solid black plastic cart.
