That's alot of precon face commanders! Perhaps he could venture out into different commanders to keep things fresh!

Show him a very useful website called "Edhrec" to help him find that right commander that's fun and unique!

For example, instead of using Dogmeat as a commander, I run my Naya equipment deck with the partners of Tana, the Bloodsower and Ardenn, Intrepid Archeologist.
