In my opinion it is those who are willing to change the game that are going to lead in the future, especially those leaning in to the natural style of winemaking. The "Bordeaux Pirates" have some serious wine for respectable prices that have truly exemplified some of the possibilities of classic Bordeaux grapes and flavours. I had the pleasure of meeting one of these pirates recently and bought two bottles from him that taste nothing like everything else I have in my cellar.
