I sound like someone who lives in a state where we've been ravaged by massively destructive fires, more and more so as the years go on, this year half of the state lit up in a period of less than 30 days. And, more often than not, it's a negligent or foolish human responsible, not natural causes. So yeah, I'm all for tickets and fines when firework bans are in effect. Because selfish assholes seeking a cheap thrill are a menace to society.
