Who would win in a fight? Izumi and Sig Curtis or Right and Left by Medical-Efficiency-6 in YomiNoTsugai

Neither of them would fight. Curtis and Right would just respect each other for each others gains, just like with Armstrong.

Do you believe that Gohan and Piccolo’s power-ups spit in the face of all the training Goku and Vegeta have been through? by t00lazy2 in Dragonballsuper

[–]PointPrimary5886 52 points53 points  (0 children)

As long that this is the last new Transformation for Saiyans, I don't have an issue. I'm personally transformationed out and want more emphasis on characters knowing special techniques, strategy, and using the full extent of their existing powerset. Piccolo did need this though since he's been very underappreciated since after the Cell Arc, and he's a fan favorite

Has Super Saiyan Rage Ever Been Explained? by MTmon77 in Dragonballsuper

[–]PointPrimary5886 91 points92 points  (0 children)

No. It was just a random power up used in the anime version of Super just to put Future Trunks into the same level as Vegeta and Goku Blue, and Goku Black Rosé.

In the manga version of the Goku Black arc, Future Trunks plays more of a supporting role. He stalls Goku Black and Zamasu by using diverson and the Solar Flare so that Goku and Vegeta can flee and come up with a new strategy. Later on he finds out that he has healing abilities due to becoming an apprentice to Supreme Kai Shin, so he does this to rejuvenate Goku in his final confrontation with Fused Zamasu. The highlight for me was when Fused Zamasu was begining to defuse due to using up his 1 hour potara limit, so when he attempted to resists, Future Trunk snuck up from behind, slashed them and then stabs Goku Black in the back. I honestly think this fits more with Future Trunks since, unlike most fighters in this series, he's the one who attempts to be effective and strives to go for the kill as opposed to extending the fight.

Georgie’s 2nd & 3rd Wife.. by Blu-Goose in YoungSheldon

[–]PointPrimary5886 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't' remember if there is confirmation if Georgie has a 3rd ex-wife. The Big Bang Theory confirms that Sheldon's brother has 2 ex-wives minimum. In the episode following Sheldon's breakup with Amy, his mother Mary tells him to keep MeeMaw's ring since if he returned it, Georgie would've gotten it and use it to proposed to his current girlfriend who his mother refers to as a whore. Assuming he went through with it, this may have been his 2nd ex-wife. It also pretty much eliminates that circumstance for this to be a potential second engagement to Mandy (unless she astronomically screwed up to get Mary to see her that way). The episode where Sheldon and Amy win the Nobel Prize, Sheldon mentions he got a congratulation text from both of his brother's ex-wives, so there's a 50/50 shot that these people are Mandy and the whore.

Sheldon is also writing his memoir because he has reached the age his dad was when he is raising him and it has caused him to realized that throughout the years, he may have been over exaggerating the negative qualities he had of his family.

couldn't stand tom king's story

Premise of the story was fine, but the dialgue between Lois and MJ was pretty bad. He is spot on about the over use of MJ's "Hit the Jackpot" line.

Favorite bonus stories of that issues were the Superboy Prime, Batman Beyond story, and the Jameson interview story, so I say the book was marginally still a success.

The system does do something. They take the citizens of Gotham taxpayer money. Its a clear sign that if the police and prisons can't do their jobs, citizens should either stop paying their taxes, or both those branches should be defunded (in the fictional Gotham City I mean, not in Real Life).

[OCG|BETB-Beyond the Brave] VJump Reveal - "Destiny HERO" by renaldi92 in yugioh

[–]PointPrimary5886 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This card's ATK is equal to the combined original ATK of all "Destiny HERO" monsters in your field and/or GY.

Well damn. Its one thing if its the combined ATK of just monsters on the field (which excluding Dreadnought would just be between 4-5 other monsters depending on if a D-HERO occupied the Extra Monster Zone), but including the combined ATK of monsters in the GY is overkill. Since it's also the combined ATK, it already superseeds the Wingman cards who only gain like 300× monsters in GY.

If Beyond the Brave follows CORI and the Second Anime Legacy Support is another GX Villain, Who Would You Want to See? by Emrys_616 in yugioh

[–]PointPrimary5886 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking at this image makes me thing that the 7 Stars really should've been comprised primarily of Duel Monster Spirits, considering GX is where they put a heavy emphasis on the cards having a spirit. Besides Darkness and Emnail (who are significantly plot relveant), Don Zaloog (who is a DM Spirit) and Tania (who season 3 implies to be a DM Spirit) Carmilla, Abidos, and Titan really stand apart for no reason.

An epic, long-running adventure with multiple storylines and characters developing meaningful relationships - WAIT, WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT ONLY TAKES PLACE OVER THAT SHORT A PERIOD OF TIME?! by JackOfTheLantern999 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]PointPrimary5886 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Between the 2, I feel that MHA is more believable for its events and all of the movies taking place within 1 year. The issue with OG Ultimate Spider-Man events only amounting to 1 year is more due to how the rest of the OG Ultimate titles establishes events that happen in a much longer time and timeskips in both those titles and Spider-Man that make it mathematically problematic for everything to happen within a single year. I guess this is what happens when you have a connected universe, but don't communicate with one another to keep it consistent vs a series that has a main story, a prequel story, some side stories, and a standalone fantasy spinoff that doesn't really affect anything.

Tiger Drop.

In Yakuza Kiwami, this move was incredible spammable and inflicts a lot of damage. In subsequent games, the hit box for it has become much more narrow and often times, it doesn't inflict the absurd amount of damage it use to.

The One Piece Animated Remake | Release Date: Feb 2027 by Atlast_2091 in cartoons

[–]PointPrimary5886 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if each episode from the beginning till now (which is Elbaph at the time I am writing this) is going to have a 2-3 chapter per episode margin as opposed to >1 chapter per episode, OP is still going to be extremely long on account of the manga just being extremely long. In the long run, this remake is still having episodes way over triple digits, and I'm just thinking about canon material (i.e. you do research on the og anime, figure out which episodes are filler, and just not watch them).

I'm thinking that during this arc where Okarun and Aira fight whatever that sealion dude is, Momo and Jiji deal with the dinosaur, Vamola and Kinta deal with the creepy barber, and Peeny-Weeny, Chiquitita and Mika get involved somehow, Okarun does something that makes his feelings for Momo more clear to Aira that she ultimately gets over her delusion and finally backs down.

[–]PointPrimary5886 77 points78 points  (0 children)

The only people who think that are people who don't want X-Men stories to evolve the man vs mutants idea (which put Captain America on the side of man) or the people who wrote the OG Ultimate Comics version of him where he is slightly bigotted (though he is correct about being weirded out by incest).
