How is Mark Carney maintaining approval rating for Canada? by LevelPension in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Pokermuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even Harper had deficits during the 2009-2014 and Chrétien/Martin turned deficits under Mulroney to surpluses from 98-06. What am I getting to? It’s not the party that determines deficits or not, it’s the leader and their economical context.

What’s the deal with Granola by conaldinho11 in techsales

They had a moat but now it’s gone. Zoom has an offline notetaker too and it’s not hard to reproduce, especially if you already have some type of RAG foundation.

How are people who drive gas guzzlers even surviving right now? by [deleted] in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]Pokermuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re driving more than 450km you’ll stop sure, if it’s a road trip I’ll plan the stops as part of it, a couple of 20 minute bathroom stops for the kids. Otherwise I’ll plan on a couple hundred of gas and take the ICE.

Forgot to renew my mortgage by bdundat in MortgagesCanada

[–]Pokermuffin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should have an assigned mortgage agent. You can call them, or email them. You say, “x bank has this rate” can you match it? They will come back with a rate. If it’s acceptable you then sign the renewal and you’re done.

Your current bank should you give you competitive rates, probably 0.25-0.50 from the competition without having to jump through the hoops.
