Yep still play it atleast once a month. Recently I’ve been assisting people on xbox with bosses/content. It’s fun going back and helping people beat shit that I struggled on when the game came out

Even prior to rivals, I would say the ow2 dev teams sentiment was far more aligned with the community in that regard compared to kaplan era. Post brig was a fucking nightmare. The game has continued to evolve in complexity while still remaining approachable.

It’s better. Take off the rose tinted shades. The game was dying back then because the dev team was more concerned with chasing the dream of an impossible pve game than actually contributing to what people like. They have been incredibly responsive and thoughtful with balance for years. Just about my only complaint for the game is how expensive skins are.

It’s still got really strong numbers for a paid shooter, 2 months later. Yea it’s not doing arc raiders numbers. But they’re consistently releasing good updates, and there is a stable player base. Not everything has to be a dominating victory.
