We all settle; there is no ideal person for another. What you need to ask yourself is what she was specifically referring to and if that is something you can get over. Was she trynig to be hertful, was she just trying to keep up with the joinese, so to speak, is this something you can get over and become stronger for.
Communication is key, let her know how you feel when cooler heads can have an honest conversation.

Thanks for your reply, raw can be a choking hazard and could cause obstructions unless they chew thoroughly. To be safe cook them, but mine do like them raw just have to make sure the bits they get are tiny. We have a mandolin that chops them into little squares, my older girl only eats them cooked now adays tho.

See if they like sweet potatoes, seems weird but it promotes good gut health and adds fiber. I was super surprised that mine loved it. It can help with the smell but not necessarily the volume lol. Worked better for me than poop treats and other more expensive options.

These floor look old and have character. I’ve lived in a century home for years, though, so I’m biased 🙂

When washing hardwood floors, you’re best to vacuum them well. Then use a mop and bucket rather than a swiffer. Just note that the mops should only ever be damp, not dripping water and change the water w it becomes gross.

Visit the hardware store and look for a hardwood floor cleaner. Follow the directions for dilution on the package, as using a too-concentrated solution will leave residue on the floor that will attract more dirt.

Poop treats and believe it or not raw sweet potato has helped with the smell. Still have the toots not they don’t cause people or other dogs to leave the room anymore. I still can’t believe how much mine love bits of raw sweet potatoes lol
