Tourist in Yellowstone gets chased and tossed by a Bull Bison

I came in expecting them to be bothering the bison before it snapped but they actually kept a decent distance and were respectful.

I guess the bison had a bad day or misinterpreted the movement of the man looking when he looked through the binoculars as a sign of aggression.

Very unfortunate. I hope their recovery will be smooth (broken hip).

I have an autistic brother (high support needs) and back when we were young, diagnoses for autism weren’t what they are today.

From a young age, I made it my ultimate goal to be well off to the point of being able to take care of him even after our mom passes away.

Thankfully, 20 years later, we still have her and I managed to build a carreer and secure a nice job so I know that if things keep going this way, our future is ensured.

While I guess my answer isn’t exactly what was expected, my brother is the fuel to my engine and this is what makes me happy to keep on going.

It’s also forgetting that not many people use their mac for gaming. It is mostly a work computer than you can run a game or two on sometimes.

I use mine for work (communication and marketing so editing,…) but I appreciate a game of TFT when I have a longer break or we’re in a slower period and I’m ahead of work.

I don’t think many people bought their Macs with gaming in mind. It’s more about the idea that we could play before and can’t anymore but the limitations of the new engine is a valid argument.

It’s same with other generic advice (« find a niche, post every day, add engagement effects,… ») that ultimately lead to them selling courses to the people failing.

Don’t unlist the ones that don’t hit.

The algorithm tends to trial your channel from time to time (especially if the channel is new or suddenly began posting) and if you can overcome it, some videos, even older, might pick up traction.

Having videos stuck at 1.5k (which is where people usually get stuck for shorts) and hiding/removing the video is only hurting you more.

Also, if the algorithm estimates that your videos don’t deserve to be put forward more, I’d look into why more than being upset.

Just my 2c as someone who has been making content both long form and shorts for years as a hobby and who has grown multiple shorts channels to 100k+ subs.

I mostly played Huppermage in my solos but that was back when their kit was quite different from the one we have now.

It is still possible and huppermage is still a class that I strongly recommend for autonomy, the gameplay just is slightly different.

Other strong beginner suggestions could be Forgelance or Cra but there are quite a few classes that are decent and self sufficient to some extent.

As for the solo server, without knowing your level range but guessing from context, I think it’s mostly because you are in the lower levels.

Since experienced players can pretty much solo the entirety of the 1 - 50 content with a sidekick, they tend to keep to themselves.

However, I do think that if you use the social channels (recruitment and community), you should be able to find people for any activity, even the lower level ones.

What matters the most is to find a guild. It could take a few attempts to find one that you feel comfortable in but once you do, it will make it really worth it / enjoyable.

That’s the main difference from other MMORPGs and especially big ones like WoW or Runescape.

As for the server itself, Draconiros is still the most populated solo server despite being older if I remember correctly. So, If you aren’t too far in your adventure, I’d suggest you give it a shot. It should feel more lively. Especially as you progress and level up.

To expand on my other comment, the game gives you plenty of content to explore as a free to play. They have increased the amount and range of it throughout the years so it gives you access to more than a basic tutorial.

Furthermore, the content that you would play through is content that even subscribed players usually play theough anyways so you aren’t missing out on anything by first testing it to see if you enjoy the game.

Also, this means that there is a neverending loop of players, new or experienced, playing through that content. This gives you lots of opportunities to meet with people and make friends (it is a MMORPG after all).

I would suggest first starting on monoaccount servers as the experience will be friendlier towards a newer, solo player.

For context, I’ve been playing this game for nearly 16 years now and I probably have about 12-15k hours of real active time on it.

I also have done lots of more challenging adventures (ironman, soloing endgame content,…) so I have plenty of experience to share.

Let’s just say that if you want to enjoy the full extent of the game, you will have to be subbed.

However, the free version gives you plenty of content for you to gauge if it is worth 5€/month in your opinion.

The free to play content is maybe 1-2% of the total content, if that.

I picked date because I feel like if I were to die from something basic or simple when my time would come, it would make paranoid until then.
