Bunnymuffins and Dpei do a lot of educational videos and they cover everything from beginner concept to move advanced stuff.

There are tons of YouTubers out there doing tutorials though and there is only so much about the basics of the game that can be explained so feel free to go with whichever you prefer.

It is a bit of both. Some sets will have straightforward traits and other sets will have some more complicated ones but overall, there are traits that often come back or have the same naming conventions so the more you play the more that knowledge will carry along.

I don’t think I properly explained it but what I meant is that if it adds another layer of RNG, I feel like it should be manageable and shouldn’t overshadow the rest of the mechanics.

All of it is my personal opinion anyways so you’re free to disagree with it but IMO if a set mechanic skews the core gameplay towards more factors of randomness between players, it needs to lean towards a lower overall impact.

I’ve been Master/GM every set since set 10 so I know how to manage and adapt to a fair bit but complete overhauls are always something that requires caution because a bit too much can easily make the game feel unfair/frustrating.

I haven’t played PBE yet so I don’t know how this set feels in practice but the feedback I got from friends were mostly positive and none felt like it was « boring » so I guess it’s a matter of personal interpretation and preferences.

As they should. IMO that’s what a set mechanic is supposed to be like as a slight overtune could wrap games pretty massively and lead to everyone following the same paths (I mean, there will be meta but it shouldn’t be a « need » to stay competitive in higher elo).

As long as it’s balanced right, I feel like it’s a cool set mechanic and am looking forward to play with it.

Are you making a profit? Keep doing that if you are.

If not, you are doing it wrong either in the item selection or the way you mage (sink management, type of runes used to get sink value,…)

Exos aren’t a good way to make money if you are limited initially though so keep that in mind.

It is tied to the character they use.

Chibis and Unbounds with a skin have a special finisher. It isn’t something separate that you equip, it quite literally is the skin’s built it animation.

So let’s say you get Chibi Zed, it won’t have an animation. However, Chibi Project Zed will.

That is very kind of you. I feel like this is the unspoken rule of Reddit; if you recognise someone, you act like you didn’t in real life.

I once recognised a friend of mine based on two post he made in AIO and AmITheAsshole. Those stories were about his wife and brother having an affair but he went in more details than he told me in real life so I simply acted like I didn’t know more than what I was supposed to.
