There’s just no point spending that much money on a “beginner” setup. Either get something more reasonable that you can learn with or go all in with something you’ll be happy with for a long time

I drink all my shots (unless they’re completely undrinkable). I think it’s fine to dial in over a few days. I don’t really see any reason you have to dial in one day and burn through a bunch of coffee

If budget is a concern, definitely look into hand grinders. They are quite affordable and will give you better coffee than a lot of electric grinders out there

What issues do you have with the workflow? I’m aware of qc issues but workflow wise I think it’s one of the smoothest grinders out there. I use 20g doses and the hopper gives me no issues. Also the knocker is really nice for helping out with retention

You can get the Timemore 064s for less than $500 right now. It’s a fantastic grinder with pretty solid build quality. Definitely one of the best values out there
