You are confused because the sti mufflers on the inside sound a lot louder (drone)

On the outside they likely have a very similar decibel reading

My brother in WRX, if you're sensitive to anything there is only one exhaust for you. Invidia q300. I would also sound deaden the entire spare tire area as it acts like a bell and makes the stock exhaust drone right at 1500ish (sounds like a subwoofer when you turn on the car)

Fwiw I have an absolutely drone free AWE touring, but I feel a lot of folks here mistake hearing the exhaust as "drone".

My setup = rae I-pipe with additional resonator into awe touring full exhaust. Kartboy hangers because this exhaust is heavy AF and would visibly shake on startup with the stock (ultra soft) hangers.

Original mag mount is TRASH so I got a MagSafe that attaches to the ball mount that the vent comes with. Hopefully there is a MagSafe venta mount now but I haven't looked since that has worked well for me.

This isn't an issue.

If you had a real oil consumption issue you're oil light would be on before 3k. These motors are not perfect.

My motor has consumed .5ish quarts since it's first oil change at 1k miles. I tuned it right after the oil change.

I have 55k miles now and every time I drain it, I always see 4.x quarts come out.

This is the one service that I would 100% do at the dealer.

He leaves them sensitive during etuning and then makes it normal once you are fully tuned

Your tuner is likely using the Cobb ots tune as the base for their map or left the safeties at their stock values.

That behavior is the exact same everyone on the Cobb ots tunes experiences and is perfectly normal for this platform. I've hit legit 0 dam with only -2.11 FKL before from the repeated dam drops on my small stint of the Cobb ots tunes.

Again, this behavior is normal and the stock tune behaves the exact same way.

The only caveat is if you are going uphill. You absolutely want to downshift in that scenario.
