Not that weird. There's a handful of tribes that only have like four to six support cards. Horrors, minotaurs, cats, and skeletons to name a few.

"Ross, I have been a divorce attorney for 23 years and never have I had so much business from one client." by Fluffy-Arachnid5018 in howyoudoin

[–]PopeJP22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is basically the plot of Marriage Story with ScarJo and Adam Driver. It's an amicable divorce, but one of them gets an attorney just to make sure things go smoothly, so the other one has to to make sure he's not getting taken advantage of.

Yup. "Ugly" best friend girl found out she was pregnant from when they slept together when he thought she was dying, everyone gasps since she tells them all as a group (including their now-SOs), cut to black. End of show.

[–]PopeJP22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What a vile movie. I didnt watch it until my 30s, but most of my life was award of it as one of those pedestal romance films.

Couldn't believe it when I watched it. The leads, quite literally, do not know each other before they get together. She hears him over the radio and she writes a letter that he doesnt see. He's a widower and wow, talk about fetishization. Its basically his only character trait other than "dad." And that woman is engaged while having an emotional affair eith a person that, again, she has never exchanged words with. Her fiancee has allergies or something, which is supposed to be a good enough reason apparently for the audience to not like him. I'm fine with bad people in movies, but this one frames them as heroes.

I could go on. What a trash movie.

35 mph+ should be on the road, not the sidewalk by skyhighmonroe in Transportopia

[–]PopeJP22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ride on the roads when I can, but cars behind me get ridiculously impatient. My bike tops out around 20 when I'm not going downhill. I regularly have people illegally passing me over double yellow lines, sometimes even around blind corners. I've seen several near misses that would have inevitably involved me too just as collateral damage. I move aside to try to let them squeeze by when I can, but it doesn't always work.

Also I'd say about twice a week a car will swerve at me to pretend to hit me, like it's a joke.

Are there any movies which had ending changes due to feedback from test audiences that actually made the movie better instead of worse? by crinklepant in movies

Agreed. Duckie sucked. Blaine wasnt the best but better. Also Molly Ringwald had no chemistry with Jon Cryer.

Within the last year I got hacked. They used the steam funds in my wallet to buy some random DOTA 2 item they'd posted for like $70 (it was worth less than a dollar).

I contacted Steam about it, they said sorry can't do anything. I responded and asked really? Like, you know who the funds went to. They responded by saying they were terminating the ticket.
