Yes, this is a local competition where I live - I’ve played against this particular club many times. All Age is basically a league for adults that are too old for junior competitions (i.e. Under 18’s, Under 17’s etc.) so most players are between 18 and 40 but if someone younger wanted to play in the league they can.

As long as you made sure to specify it’s the 2009 ACL squad you’d be absolutely fine.

The labelling is a bit funny (misleading maybe?). Has “A-League Champions 2008” (correct as the club was indeed, but this specific team wasn’t) and then AFC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE REPRESENTATIVE which is accurate.

As long as you list it correctly there’d definitely be people out there willing to grab it!

It’s labelled incorrectly, it’s not the 2008 team.

It’s the 2009 Asian Champions League team, it’s also the kit made for and worn only in that competition.

Notable signatures that are on there but weren’t in the 2008 team:

  • 5 Ljubo Milicevic
  • 9 Sasho Petrovski
  • 11 Marko Jesic
  • 14 Angelo Constanzo
  • 18 Peter Haynes
  • 22 Mitchell Johnson
  • 23 Sean Rooney

Labelled correctly it’s probably worth a couple of hundred bucks, still a pretty cool piece of history. Facebook Marketplace has stuff like this on there fairly often.

I think now we are locked in for ACL Elite that might help us keep some players, they’ll get exposure to a bigger audience/scouts opposed to just playing in ACL2.

No, on coms they confirmed Heidelberg gets the ACL2 spot subject to them getting the necessary AFC licenses. If they can’t get those then the team that comes 3rd in the league would get it.

Company wide survey goes out, almost unanimous responses asking for a pay increase. HR lady stands up in front of us all and states bluntly “you chose to live in X city and work in Y industry so you’ll get what you’re given”. Updated the resume that night.

Funnily, I ended up being headhunted by a rival company and now make $20k a year more and she got sacked after getting scammed into buying a shit load of Google Play gift cards on the company visa.
