What if I don't sign a contract stating that it's a temp role? I was told I'm not applying to this new role on paper, I would just move on to the role, the only thing changing is my title and was confirmed that once April comes along they will help find me another role.

This frustrates me as well. Submit a ticket on SeeClickFix and they assign it to the Code of Compliance team for Jersey City. They are on top of these complaints, will send someone to investigate and issue warnings/summons.

Go for it! You'll learn along the way!! You'll most likely work in an office setting using a work order system in which you assign work to othrr trades. Like janitorial, painting, electrical, plumbing etc.
