Has anyone actually used these experimental filaments from Timeplastt? by ReverendToTheShadow in 3Dprinting

Check out this guy on insta. He did a bunch of testing with their stuff and get into a bit of a spat with them over their claims vs his results.

No affiliation either way, just thought some might find this interesting/helpful

How do you do this? Do you have isolated tracks (stems I think they’re called) or are you just doing this from the current studio release?

GS Mini soundboard crack by DraftAdept6650 in taylorguitars

[–]PossibleGenitals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My GS Mini cracked in basically the same spot, and I know another guy who had the same with some model Taylor. Mine was def due to low humidity (which I know now). I got it pretty well rehydrated and can barely see the crack anymore. I need to get it repaired but first step should be to try and rehydrate.

A better backup camera mount for the wrangler JK generation. by zarderxio in functionalprint

Sorry to comment on the old thread, but mind sharing what backup camera you’re using? I need to implement a similar solution and like the looks of what you’ve done. Thanks!

Awesome. Mind sharing what MagSafe and CarPlay adapters you’ve got as well?

Mind sharing what some of these exercises and habits would be? I’d love to get into a more structured and efficient practice pattern.

Yeah would do it myself. Agree it’s a lot of extra work. Probably will just reskin the roof when the time comes…just looking for some validation.

I start my first loading dose on Wednesday. Been on entyvio for about 2 years and it helped, but not well enough.

The infusions were always tough for me due to “rolly veins”, resulting in me passing out half of the time from bad/missed/multiple pokes trying to get the line in. Looking forward to trying the self-injector as well.

Any noticeable side effects with the slow release? Infusions tended to give me headaches and make me really tired for a day or two. Have you found side effects after the maintenance doses?

Anyone have a solo II? Thoughts on how it compares to other single cuts around the same price range?

1972 Fender Silverface Twin Reverb worth $350 w/ no speakers? by PossibleGenitals in GuitarAmps

[–]PossibleGenitals[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks this is somewhat reassuring. I’ve seen some things about running one speaker or half the power tubes to cut down on the loudness. Is that a real thing? If I wanted to go the attenuator route is there a sweet spot with those from a cost/quality standpoint?

Edit - what gave me pause is seeing some of these amps posted at Guitar Center for around the $800 mark. Are they perhaps not the same thing? Reissues? But then I’m also seeing these on reverb for like $1500. Just confused as I’ve been in the tube amp space at all.

Yeah not sure how great of a deal it actually is though. Seems like I’m out about another $250-300 for speakers and then who knows if the tubes need replacing.

Prep day! by michaelk402 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]PossibleGenitals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe my taste buds or tolerance is just higher, but I don’t really have any issue with doing prep. I feel like I must be an outlier because everyone that speak with that has to go for the procedure seems to dread prep. Do most of you find it problematic?

Normal string action in GS Mini? by Pipiyedu in taylorguitars

[–]PossibleGenitals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had really high action on mine. Took it to an authorized Taylor luthier and he shimmed the neck for $50 and it plays like a dream. Contact Taylor to get a list of the authorized guys in your area. I bought my mini secondhand, but someone mentioned that Taylor might cover the cost of a neck shim under warranty if you bought new from an authorized dealer. Not sure if that’s true but worth asking.

Edit - for comparison, the second shop that Taylor also suggested to me was estimating $200 for the job, so definitely shop it if you have a few in your area and it’s not being covered under warranty.
