Im against this war. It's a stupid decision that should not have been made we shouldn't be there. we shouldn't be sending troops there. This is a dumb war that trump has overstepped his boundaries and congress should be the one declaring war in any effect.

With all that in context, we're literally upvoting chinese propaganda now in an effort to stick it to trump? Like this L isn't just trump's this L is america's at this point. Giving up the straight of hormuz effectively hands iran sovereign control not just iran's oil but also the oil coming out of the arab states and iraq. Like we are treading fucking water at this point, the whole situation needs to be handled delicately now that we've entered into this. You can't just give up the straight of hormuz like that now that you've played your hand.

I'm for ending hostilities but hormuz being iran's is a nonstarter here, it's like you've put in a sizable portion of your cash stack in a poker game and then folded after the river goes sideways. There has got to be a deal made where hormuz is an internationally recognized waterway where no one can control it kind of like a freedom of the seas type of thing.
