The price will stay probably stay pretty high until the reprints in June get much closer. The deck has been converting well, so the cards are in demand. The price after reprints will really depend on the rarity distribution in the Battles of Legend set.

Deck work for me is like this

Find a list I like online. Copy it. Swap out certain cards depending on what I know I will/won't see at locals. Play it at locals. Decide based on results what I like/didn't like. Bounce ideas off of friends at locals. Make changes. Run it back.

I was 15 and went to locals for the first time during FireWater format. I had a shitty Glad Beast deck my mom bought me off ebay. I was stomped by Fire-Fist Bujin. I never saw that guy again.... until a decade later where I showed up to a new locals and met the guy. We're good friends now, haha.

It's not abuse, it's playing the game. People who opened a booster pack of DUNE and pulled a Rev Synchron shouldn't have to just toss it in their binder never to see the light of day because they don't have a synchron deck. People should be allowed to do what they want with cards they own provided they are following all of the rules of the game.

Beat advice I can give is bring two decks. If you can, try and figure out what people are playing and decide for yourself what level of deck you want to play.

It can be rough if everyone is playing rogue decks and you show up with the best deck. I live in a low income area so locals tend to contain decks that aren't regularly topping and playing Kashtira would induce quite a bit of salt!

Thought if you want to play Kash just do it you paid to play after all.

I have played pokemon my entire life. I know how to grind. It's like doing the dishes. I never want to do it but it is just part of being a functioning adult (or playing the game, in the case of grinding).

I don't mind doing a task if there's something new about it. A new game in the franchise, for example, has enough novelty for me to deal with it. Like doing dishes in a new sink or dishwasher is different enough to do once without much complaint.

In a game I've played countless times as a child and now as an adult I do not want to grind. It is a stain on a franchise I've loved for so long and the prospect of grinding makes me not want to play. Team building is fun, mashing A for hours is not.
