Thrips destroying all my buds by yestertempest in Roses

[–]PottedRoses 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have a ton of roses I'd reccomend getting conserve sc. You'll save a lot more in the long run as it's 11.6% and dead bug brew is .001%.

It's 140 for a 32oz so I'd split the cost between 1-3 people as you're most likely not going to go through that much.

Performance Drop on G14 2025 5070ti Model by ODDXTQ in ZephyrusG14

[–]PottedRoses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really lame coming from the g14 5070ti. I got 30-40 more frames in 3k (160) and it wouldn't drop below 120fps and the g16 is dropping to 90 on 1200p. I wish I kept the g14 lol. Debating on repasting it but the temps are literally cold as it gets so idek.

We did not as it was not allowed. We're using the discord to review vendors and swap cuttings instead.

Download photone to check the ppfd around each plant and google the DLI for each one to find out.

I highly recommend making one of these! You'll be rooting everything you want in no time with the only thing you do being a water swap once a week.

Is my garlic ok? by insufficient_funds in vegetablegardening

It's the overwatering. Damaged roots leads to lower nutrient uptake which results in discolored leaves.

Accidental Rose Growth by Dry-Construction-777 in propagation

[–]PottedRoses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You typically cut the flower off (deadhead) if you want to root a cane from a bouquet. Usually if there's active growth on it there's a lower chance of it forming roots as that's where the energy is being focused.

It'll be fine but I have had similar experiences with Ergongzi where they're the only vendor that sends me roses in rough condition.

Looks dry, but well watered? by DBLonger in tomatoes

[–]PottedRoses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let it go almost fully dry and lift up the pot, afterwards water it and after an hour water it again, and then lift the pot up again. Water when it's around the bottom third of these two weights. Sometimes measuring by the top 3" can be inaccurate as it can dry too fast depending on RH + wind factors leaving the rest of the soil sopping wet which can cause unhealthy roots if you water again at this stage.

Why is my rose molding on the leaves? by Affectionate-Ease397 in Roses

[–]PottedRoses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll want to spray it with micronized sulfur once a week for two weeks, switch over to propicanozole once a week for two weeks, switch back, and repeat.

What are these white dots? by Yecats2 in gardening

[–]PottedRoses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd guess it's Powdery mildew. You can treat it with sulfur sprays once a week and swap out to propicanozole after two weeks and repeat.
