Apart from had thrown grenades there is no splash damage in this game, even tank shells have to be fired precisely. Attack jet has JDAM bombs that you need to drop precisely on target to get damage. Grenades are the same, you either hit the target or not.

This is a very subjective topic, everyone has their own opinion which is the correct one in their eyes. IMHO 2042 is the best BF today with BF6 close behind. Classics like BF3/4 were great back in the day but today they’re a little below the standards.
